Today's Louisville Courier-Journal story on Jack Conway's brother -- a prosecutor being investigated "for possible drug use or trafficking," and illicitly tipped off by detectives -- isn't great for the Democratic candidate and top state law enforcement officer, though most of it doesn't bear directly on him.
The end of the fairly complicated story, though, does; a detective says his brother's lawyer said he'd expressed interest in the case. (That, if you're keeping score, is thirdhand; Conway denies involvement.

Am amazed Politico ran this story. Maybe it was getting too big to be ignored.
Beat the Dems at their own game.....play this to the friggin’ hilt. I guarantee you they would.
This story could not have been timed better. The press has 10 days to play with it until election and the only questions Conway will be asked is as to his involvement. Conway is finished. Rand Paul can coast from here and enjoy the fireworks.
The press won't do anything with this unless they are dragged into it kicking and screaming.
Rand Paul cannot coast. He needs to go on Hannity or Greta's TV program Monday or Tuesday night and start talking about this. And run ads about it across the state. Only then will the rest of the press start talking about it in time to make a difference in the election.
