Hey, I just did a quick synopsis. You could write 10,000 words on this, easily.

The next two years are going to make the last two years seem like a picnic.

If overwhelming and clear evidence is presented and a majority of American people agree that obuma should be impeached, then those senators voting against conviction on impeachment charges will be politcally dead.

If overwhelming and clear evidence is presented then a majority of the American people will vote 0bama out of office in November 2012.

Now, what is the overwhelming and clear evidence that we have against 0bama? Is it that he supports bailouts, huge government spending, huge deficits, high taxes, too many executive orders and a socialist healthcare system? If so, those aren't high crimes or misdemeanors, they are political issues and are too be dealt with on the political arena (the election of 2012).

Yes, the Republicans need to investigate 0bama and they also need to publish their findings (we need help from FoxNews and talk radio on that). From there, if they find anything they need to let the voters address those findings in the election of 2012.

You left the rest out: “Win this battle, then go fight the war.” Just keep your eye on the prize, 80-100 house seats and control of the senate. After the election, GO NUTS!

“This is NOT what I am voting for! We must make it clear to the RINOs that impeachment is ON THE AGENDA, not just on the table. “

That would be a great way to keep Pelosi and Reid in power forever.

In AZ-8, we have a close race between an air-head liberal democrat who, when she isn’t in DC, lives with her husband in TX and a good, solid conservative ex-Marine. But if the district thought a vote for Kelly was a vote to remove Obama from office, Giffords would run away with the district.

The country, as a whole, is somewhat to the left of FreeRepublic.

Unless we get 67 Republican senators, impeachment is not practical. We have to remove Obama from office, not let him become a martyr to the demoralized Democratic base.

As it is, Obama’s going to find he has no money to do what HE wants. The House will be GOP, and the House initiates funding.

“Now, what is the overwhelming and clear evidence that we have against 0bama? “

1) The illegal implementation of the UN Biodiversity Treaty, which the senate rejected in 1994, by the EPA, as directed by obuma

2) The illegal state bailouts in 2009, passed and signed by obuma, which allowed state legislatures to ignore a governor’s veto. Do you think the federal government has the power to nullify a state governor’s veto power over a state’s legislature? That’s not a political matter; that’s naked and illegal aggression against a sovereign state.

3) Failing to enforce the voters right act.

4) Failing to secure the border against a violent foreign invasion. Obuma has taken the side of the invaders. That can be clearly seen by his statements and actions.

You may be willing to wait until 2012, but can the country absorb all the damage obuma will do until then? Perhaps congressional investigations will tie this totalitarian regime in knots for the next two years, but I doubt it. He’ll use executive decrees and orders to send out the fascist federal bureaucracy to destroy everything.

First, you may feel that the four items you mention are high crimes and misdemeanors but if 67 Senators or the vast majority of Americans don't agree with you then you will have wasted a Republican majority on a failure. Lets face it none of the things you mention are obvious crimes/misdemeanors...they qualify as technical issues which most folks don't understand.

Secondly, impeachment doesn't happen overnight. You have to do investigations then hold hearings then schedule an impeachment vote in the House (which will include) debate and possibly amendments to the resolution. Then you need to schedule an impeachment trial in the US Senate (67 votes are needed to impeach and the dems will have at least 48 votes to block...and they will indeed block it). Don't forget that an impeachment won't start until January at the earliest because the new congress isn't sworn in until then. And if it takes 1-1/2 years to impeach 0bama then you will have completed the impeachment a few scant months ahead of the Nov 2012 election. What good would that do? Also, Joe Biden would become POTUS if 0bama were inmpaeched and all of the czars/cabinet head would remain in place. Again, what good would that do? Its much wiser to let the people take out 0bama in Nov 2012.

Sometimes I think there are trolls who come to this forum to try to stir up the base into doing something ridiculous...in this case I think thats what happening. Well, Mr. Troll, we aren't that stupid. We know that impeachment would fail and that it would also lead to the electorate turning against the Conservatives and the Republicans so we aren't going to fall for it. Now you can go back to MoveOn.org and post with your buddies over there.

The Republicans need to focus on the economy. That is what Americans are worried about. Impeaching Obama would just be red meat for the base, but it would do nothing to improve the economic conditions for Americans in general. It would, however, fire up liberals and make independents wonder if republicans were capable of governing.

If the American people are disenchanted with Obama, they will vote him out in two years.

The country, as a whole, is somewhat to the left of FreeRepublic.

I don't buy that. We represent the VAST majority of Americans. Only a handful of people are on the side of the treasonous communist/fascist/Nazi types. They inflate their impact by controlling the media and the universities and by committing massive voter fraud. The vast majority of Americans are patriotic folks who want to live by the code of the free market.

“We represent the VAST majority of Americans.”

Then how did Obama get elected in the first place? Why is Jerry Brown a contender for Gov of California? How did McCain get the nomination in 2008?

FReepers do NOT represent the political middle of America. If we did, the country would be vastly different.

" I say keep him on and let his incompetence and traitorous behavior top the Dhim ticket in 2012. "

Yeah, don't let Congress impeach him, we will vote him out in 2012, la de da da .....

Yeah, why not, why not let him do more damage to our country, and don't hold him and his administration to accountability.
Sarcasm...

All of you who don't want to hold him and his administration to accountability sound like a bunch of Obama supports.
Before, the argument was, " wait until 2010 elections to hold him and his administration accountable " " and now, we hear " wait until 2012 " .....
Or the new argument against holding Obama and his administration accountable is:

" no, we can't waste any political capital "

Let me ask you this ?
Where is your guarantee that this Congress will do ? or not do what the people want ?
Or will this new GOP controlled Congress will do what the last GOP controlled Congress did ?

Were is your intestinal fortitude in holding Obama, and this current administration ,Nancy Pelosi, and Harry Reid accountable with the new Congress ?
American does not have until 2012 to wait, waiting for the 2012 election might just be to late....
Wake up and smell the coffee....
Obama's new army, opps, I mean, Obama's order for 80,000 Muslim refugees to come to USA.

Yeah, that's the ticket, let the guy do more damage to America , the 2012 election will save us... Sarcasm....

Yeah, before, the argument was ? " Let's wait until the 2010 elections to hold them accountable " and now ? " no, wait, let him serve out the next 2 year and then we will vote him out " ...
America does not have 2 more years to wait, wake up and smell the coffee.....

Obama orders 80,000 mostly Muslim refugees to come to the USA in 2011....

Obama's secret army ?

Acorn and SEIU are two big reasons, along with illegal alien votes. It's all election fraud. There is NO WAY the majority of Americans voted for the Kenyan Usurper.

Nice try.

You don’t address a single point I presented.

Like the typical liberal you are, you engage in name calling.

Not surprising. It’s to be expected from Soros agent provocateurs like you.

But I shouldn’t be surprised. It takes some element of intelligence to think - thinking and intellegence, neither of which you’re familiar with.

In the meantime, Mr. Liberal, I’ll do my best to get your leftist, fat ass kicked off FR.

“Some of you ragers need to calm it down! Do you numbskulls have any idea what impeaching Obama would do....it would DESTROY conservatism. Aside from real proof....and I mean proof even Dens would acknowledge because it is undeniable and a very big deal....there is no point in impeachment.

Just because the GOP doesn’t want to string up Obama doesn’t mean they are liking the guy.

RELAX.”

What you’ve said is irrelevant nonsense.

Apparently you want a permanent Democrat majority.

Could you explain why it is irrelevant?
