I think ‘hateful’ is the wrong term. Afraid...would be the better term. These are basically 2-star executives running something they have no concept over...they start to fear things, and then they do dopey things.
The ombudsman used some stupid comparison today to make folks feel better. The quote was.... “I can only imagine how Williams, who has chronicled and championed the Civil Rights movement, would have reacted if another prominent journalist had said: But when I get on a plane, I got to tell you, if I see an African American male in a Dashiki with a big Afro, I get worried. I get nervous.”
The only problem with this...is that there hasn’t been a single African-American in a Dashiki with a Afro to kill any Americans over the past three decades. We aren’t even talking about mass killings.
As for the CEO....her smirk and this reference to some mental health doctor made her look like some BP oil executive. NPR is in serious trouble and I suspect a major flip on management will occur by Xmas.
I would think 100% of black conservatives would agree.
...”But when I get on a plane, I got to tell you, if I see an African American male in a Dashiki with a big Afro, I get worried. I get nervous”...
I don’t know about the rest of you folks here, but this statement which I have heard more than once since all this started really galls me. IT WAS NOT AFRICAN AMERICANS WHO HIT THE TWIN TOWERS ON 9-11..IT WAS NOT AFRICAN AMERICANS OR ANY OTHER GROUP WHO FLEW THOSE PLANES ON THAT DAY..Anyone doing something like that brings a normal, natural survival response from horrified people..For those who worship the earth..It is a part of Mother Nature to feel that way..The left is in the business of turning normal to abnormal, right to wrong and good into evil..They seem to pervert everything into it’s opposite. Just my opinion..
I think most of the people at PBS or CPB only like limp wristed men anyway...someone they can bully
