Let the record reflect that Mr. Carter represents himself, and nobody else.

What would happen if Jimmy Carter were taken hostage? Not that I wish that on him, of course, but it would make a real page-turner.

The Israelis need to declare Carter persona non grata, and eject him from Israel. Forcibly. Preferrably from the barrel of a field piece.

Jimmy Carter. I’m glad he’s on their side. Pathetically trying to rewrite his legacy and screwing THAT up.

I would recommend that Israel do that and whatever else they think is in their own best interests without worrying much what the US thinks. Unless the GOP recaptures the White House in 2012 I think Israel will face a renewed conventional military threat from Egypt, Turkey, Syria, Iran, and the other clowns in the region. They smell Jewish blood in the water. They know they stand alone.
