Okay, I am going to sound very jaded but I am waiting for the U.S. to “apologize” for this event. I hope this just goes away. Just a thought.

‘Virtually all of the 22,000 Japanese soldiers tasked with defending the rugged, volcanic crag were killed in the battle....’
The Japanese fought until the very end on Iwo Jima and would have done the SAME thing on Japan.
Now we know why Harry Truman dropped both A-Bombs.
It saved both US lives and Japanese lives but the left never gets this historical point.

A team of Japanese searchers has discovered 51 remains in two areas listed by the U.S. military after the war as enemy cemeteries, one of which could contain as many as 2,000 bodies, Japan's Kyodo news agency said Friday. Doesn't sound like they "discovered" anything. They stumbled upon a well documented gravesite.
To: DFG
Anyone care to speculate on how long before we hear mention in the NYT of bodies recovered with execution style wounds?

Isn’t it showing a lack of respect to dig up a documented burial place.

Wow, really underscores the fact that they were a dishonorable enemy. 2,000 dead and they just now get around to accounting for them. 65 years after the fact.

contain as many as 2,000 bodiesOf course none of them committed suicide. It's always America's fault. God Bless out Veterans.
