(Oct. 21) -- NPR has fired longtime news analyst Juan Williams after he told the Fox News Channel that he gets nervous when he sees Muslims on airplanes.

Williams appeared on "The O'Reilly Factor" on Monday, and host Bill O'Reilly asked him what he thought about the idea that America is facing a "Muslim dilemma." The Fox News personality caused a stir recently on ABC's "The View," when co-hosts Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg walked off the set to protest his comments blaming Muslims for the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks. NPR Fires Analyst For Saying He's Scared of Muslims Brendan Hoffman, Getty Images Longtime NPR news analyst Juan Williams was fired because comments he made on Fox News "were inconsistent with our editorial standards and practices," NPR said in a statement.

Williams said Monday he agreed with O'Reilly's statement that "jihad, aided and abetted by some Muslim nations, is the biggest threat on the planet." The two also discussed political correctness, which Williams said could "lead to some kind of paralysis, where you don't address reality."

Next they'll start jettisoning from airplanes anyone who looks nervous whenever Moose Limbs are on board, including stewardesses and pilots.

Juan just got an object lesson...up close and personal, on the effects of political correctness. His side invented it in order to silence the right and make certain truth does not “leak out” to the masses!! So Williams has discovered the TRUE leftist definition of FREE SPEECH!!! How’s that hope & change workin’ for you, Juan!!

The biggest offense in liberal land is saying certain truths about certain specially-privileged “victim” groups. Because, if the truth were known, the “victim” groups would not deserve their special privileges.

Examples:
Which “victim” group has 70% unmarried mother birth rate, consistently fails exams and discourages their children from studying hard and working hard, and commits half of all crime?
Which “victim” group gets aids more than any other because aids is spread by certain practices that they indulge in?
Which “victim” group flies planes into buildings and hates normal people?

Normal people know. But normal people get fired for saying what all normal people know.

Williams is as moderate and as objective a liberal as can be found. He is decent, hard working , well informed and prepared. He is not a bigot.

NPR (notice the P stands for public) is supposedly the people’s network, in spite of their incessant Marxist programming and mind programming).

Make no mistake, NPR did not fire Williams because of what he said on Fox, they fired him BECAUSE HE WAS ON FOX. NPR MUST BE DEFUNDED NOW!

NPR is no less fascistic than the “State Run” propaganda outlets of Hugo Chavez, Adolf HItler, Fidel Castro or Kim Jung Il. Isn’t it rich that NPR leans anti-Christian, anti-Zionist yet appears to be serving as a mouthpiece for every corrosive counter cultural fad and now an advocate for Islam. Liberalism is a dangerous auto-immune disease.

Give a listen to NPR and notice that many of their announcers have the slow and steady monotonous voice (not unlike Tokyo Rose and other apparatchik) used to regurgitate canned “progressive/Marxist” propaganda aimed at conditioning what is left of the independent American mind.

NPR’s attempt to silence Williams will fail as every expunged or censored word or opinion will eventually resound from mountaintop to mountaintop.
Juan will no doubt join the ranks of other scorned liberals like Bernie Goldberg, Norman Podhoretz, David Horowitz who found out the hard way that the liberal establishment is much more fascistic than liberal and that independent thought and/or dissent among their effete ranks is a one way ticket to Siberia.

So called, “progressivism” is no more than New Age McCarthyism and must be challenged.

Williams will be a great new soldier in battle for the cause of liberty. Welcome Juan, welcome to free thinking society.

It doesn’t stop with news and opinion programming. Try watching some of the kids’ programs, and after a few episodes, you start noticing some scary stuff. I’d except from this such classics as Mr. Rogers, Barney, Curious George and Arthur. But just watch Comrade Clifford the Big Red Dog for a week, and you’ll see what I mean.

What he said wasn’t even remotely bigoted. He feels nervous with Muslims on the plane. Rightly or wrongly, that’s what he feels. Being a rational man, he can wrestle with this prejudice, because he at least acknowledges that it exists.

I’d feel nervous being on a plane with the NPR executive who decided to fire him, because he is in denial of his own feelings, and projecting it onto Juan, who dared acknowledge ambivalent feelings towards Muslims on planes, which probably everyone feels at one time or another.

I might feel nervous being the only white man in a subway car, but unless the other passengers are all dressed in three-piece suits and tuxedos, discussing their stock portfolios and comparing French wines, that feeling might have some rational basis, and whether or not I move to the next car depends on how much rational basis my fellow passengers give me to do so. A bigot will move to the next car even though there is no rational basis.

A bigot will act on his fear of Muslims on a plane regardless of the behavior of that Muslim. A rational man will observe the Muslim and either confirm or refute his suspicions based on what he observes, and either act or not act on that basis.
