Crowd steals the show at Oberstar, Cravaack debate

Duluth, Minn. — The crowd stole the show Tuesday at a raucous 8th District Congressional Debate in Duluth.
A boisterous and partisan crowd interrupted, cheered and jeered both Rep. Jim Oberstar, a Democrat and his Republican Challenger Chip Cravaack.
More than 1,500 people packed the auditorium of the Duluth Entertainment and Convention Center for the debate, co-sponsored by the Duluth Area Chamber of Commerce, St. Luke's Hospital and the Duluth News Tribune.
Cravaack, 51, is a retired naval officer and political newcomer. His Campaign stickers adorned hundreds of supporters. Oberstar, 76,has represented the district in Congress for 18 terms. Many of his backers, including steelworkers from the Iron Range, wore union jackets.
Moderators repeatedly struggled to control the crowd, such as when Oberstar talked about his support for spending in the federal stimulus bill.
"We are emerging from the worst recession since the Great Depression -- a colossal mountain of debt created by the previous administration," Oberstar said.
Mid-sentence, that brought groans from many in the audience.
"I gather they don't like to hear the truth," Oberstar said.
Oberstar made an ass (democrat) of himself. It was wonderful to see him self destruct!
He’s always been full of himself.
Obviously,you need to think for you,because your too stupid!
One wouldn’t believe that these clowns already assured themselves lifelong benefits on the government teat (read: taxpayer-funded), including but not limited to: pension; healthcare (and not the slime they’ve voted to cram down our throats) and may others perks, after only SIX YEARS of “service!”

I get a charge out of these people getting all haughty when the sheeple voice out their opinions.

Cravaack was on Fox & Friends this morning explaining why he decided to run for Congress—came across very well. They showed a clip of the crowd reacting to Oberstar’s praise of ObamaCare.
There could not be a better candidate than Cravaack. Military. Knows ins and outs of unions. I have watched Oberstar run rampant over this state for the last 30 some years. It’s time for a big bye-bye.
What’s up with Krauthammer’s face? That is the worst makeup job ever. It looks like he is wearing war paint.
Maybe FNC hired a liberal makeup artist and she took it out on Charles...he can’t move and can do nothing more than complain, and I don’t think that it is his style to get some one fired for something like that.
