One of Anns' best articles. Most of her articles in the recent few years seemed to end each paragraph with an attempt to ridicule or joke. To me it became irritating and maybe the reason she got dumped from NR(?).

This article has none of that. It's a purely brilliant review of what actually happened.

I think maybe Christine will lose, but you know, it doesn’t matter. We accomplished what we set out to do, and that was to defeat Castle....obviously a man who showed his true colors. Had he supported her, as is the custom when you lose a primary...she would be ahead right now.

Ridicule is almost never amusing to me. It's a trait of the Democrats. Her 'sardonic wit' is sometimes amusing but making it the essence of your every article is a futile attempt to match Bill Maher. Ann is not a comedienne, she's a brilliant news analyst.

Jonah Goldberg didn't like it and she got axed, imo.
