NYT: NAACP Releases Report on Tea Party
New York Times ^ | October 20, 2010 | KATE ZERNIKE

The nation’s oldest and largest civil rights organization declares the Tea Party “permeated with concerns about race” in a new report that is likely to reignite a feud between the two groups.

The report by the NAACP, released Wednesday morning, argues that Tea Party groups “have given platform to anti-Semites, racists, and bigots,” and have attracted white nationalists looking for recruits.

“The Tea Party movement has unleashed a still inchoate political movement who are in their numerical majority, angry middle class white people who believe their country, their nation, has been taken from them,” argues the report, called Tea Party Nationalism.

Jeff Head, I don’t know if anyone has told you this in the last week, but you’re awesome. Keep up the good work.

I’m sick of their tactics. I’m sick of them calling everyone a racist who doesn’t buy their line. I’m sick of the MSM buying whatever they put out - pretending it’s not political. Gimme a break.

No word from the NAACP about human trafficking in Africa...

No word about Muslim horrors - about conditions worse than slavery for workers in Muslim countries.

No word on black on black crime.

No word on black on white crime.

No word on black teen crime that's out of control.

Guess those issues aren't big enough for them - NOPE they want to go after members of the Tea Party. And the press - ( how dare they wear that once proud term ) will look the other way. They'll hand out 'white liberal guilt' passes to black haters... Charming.

This will be the reason Soetoro gives for not running in 2012 - America is too racist.

I noticed the NAACP does Not stand for the National Association for the Advancement of “ALL” People. It stands for an organization of just those with a specific skin color. Isn’t that what the KKK stood for? It’s always the Racists that scream “Racism” the loudest...no matter what the skin color is!?

What color does my skin need to be in order to sign-up with this anti-racist organization? There’s one for white, one for brown and one for black. If they are all right, then I’m confussed. If they are all wrong, then I’m still confussed. Which is it?

Will Big Sis use this as an excuse to crack down on the Tea Party Movement?
