NAACP Issues Report on Links Between Tea Party Factions and "Racist Hate Groups" Posted by Brian Montopoli 5 comments

Updated 11:19 am Eastern

The NAACP today issued a report detailing "the links between certain Tea Party factions and acknowledged racist hate groups in the United States."

"These links should give all patriotic Americans pause," NAACP president and CEO Benjamin Jealous writes in a forward.

Jealous allows that that "the majority of Tea Party supporters are sincere, principled people of good will." He urges "the leadership and members of the Tea Party movement [to] read this report and take additional steps to distance themselves from those Tea Party leaders who espouse racist ideas, advocate violence, or are formally affiliated with white supremacist organizations."

These groups and individuals are out there, and we ignore them at our own peril," Jealous said in a statement before the report was released. "They are speaking at tea party events, recruiting at rallies, and in some cases remain in the tea party leadership itself."

They are absolutely totally frightened of the Tea Party movement.

They do not understand it and cannot comrehend that such a grass roots movement could spring up with no central leadership and sweep the country. They do not understand or want to believe that their fruad, lies, manipulations, socialism, unconstitutional acts, etc., etc. which have been protected by scheming and manipulative politicians and a willing press, could be taken down by such.

But they are getting a sense of it and are trying their tired, worn out tactics against it. Which shall fail misreably as a new congress is ushered in in 2011, with their ilk in the minority.

That's because, it's Tea Party time in America

The NAACP is one big swamp of corruption that needs to be drained.

NAACP Issues Report on Links Between Tea Party Factions and "Racist Hate Groups"
Sometimes some things are so preposterous 'on its face' that it's not even worth commenting on.

These groups and individuals are out there

These groups are NOT Tea Party members. These people would be pointed out by the Tea Party citizens as FAKES.

We all know the left will stop at nothing to make the Tea Party look racist. That's all they got. They can't fight the truth.

They have taken their cue from the 'GET IN THIER FACES' narcissistic community organizer in the WH.

A document called "The Tea Party: The Racism Within" details some of the findings, including the fact that James von Brunn, the white supremacist who killed a Holocaust Museum guard last year, posted on Tea Partner Express partner websites.

Other findings include alleged death threats against the president by Mark Williams, former chairman of the Tea Party Express; "Nazi glamorization" by Billy Joe Roper, who is listed as a founder of white nationalist organization White Revolution and a member of the ResistNet Tea Party, for his eulogy for Turner Diaries author William Pierce; and a discussion of the March 20th incident in which members of Congress say they were spat upon and hit with racist slurs during a Tea Party protest. (Many Tea Party sympathizers allege this incident never happened.)

It also offers "profiles of troubling Tea Partiers," including Roan Garcia-Quintana, a South Carolina Tea Party member who the report says belongs to the largest white nationalist group in the country; Karen Pack, another Tea Party member the report says is linked to the Ku Klux Klan; and Clay Douglas, a Tea Party member from Arizona the report says has pushed "militia-style 'New World Order' conspiracies" and "hard core anti-Semitism."

Loose ties and wild allegations aleady dismissed.... Is that all they've got?

I can’t get past this picture without wondering how in the world any self respecting woman can have anything to do with “men” such as these. It is so strange that they are able to procreate, they are the epitome of repulsive.

We all know the amish well enough that if there was anything to this claim, it would be in the courts with proof...but instead, it's a "report on links to" boondoggle, as usual.

They NAACP probably is working with ACORN to import some underage prostitutes and need some extra funding.

And how convenient, they found these "links" just a few days before the elections.

Here's the rub...these racebaiter groups will try and tie anything, and everything to "race"...it's all they've got. The problem is, every claim is based in ignorance and wishful thinking, and not even $100,000 can make them cough up the proof.

And older, but excellent response to these lies:

Calling Tea Party people racist is a S.I.N.
by Herman Cain
Wednesday, July 21st, 2010

The NAACP is doing the dirty work for the failed policies of the Obama Administration and the Congressional Democrats. Accusing the Tea Party movement as being racistshifts (S) the attention from the mishandling of the Gulf oil tragedy, the failed $862 billion stimulus spending bill, the lack of private sector job growth and an economy stuck on stalled.

The NAACP’s accusation also shifts (S) attention away from the problems in the black community which they ignore (I) in their name calling (N) rhetoric, such as increased high school drop-out rates, increased incarceration rates, increased out-of-wedlock birth rates and unemployment rates among blacks that are 50 percent higher than the national average.

Although my invitation to the NAACP annual convention in Kansas City got lost in the mail, I suspect there were plenty of speeches blaming George W. Bush and greedy capitalists for those problems.

When NAACP spokeswoman Leila McDowell says “hardcore white supremacist organizations have participated in and occasionally lead Tea Party rallies”, the mainstream lapdog media jumps all over such a blatantly baseless claim. When asked what the claim was based on, she said academic research on the Tea Party movement.

Of the nearly two dozen Tea Party rallies at which I have been a keynote speaker, I have yet to see or hear of anyone doing a survey, poll or research asking attendees if they were white supremacists. Nor has any of the Tea Party organizers indicated that such research was ever requested or being done.

Although it was not a scientific test, at a Georgia Tea Party event I attended last Friday July 16, which included a live broadcast of my radio show, I asked all of the white supremacists and KKK members to raise their hands. There were none. When I asked a show of hands of all the people who want the big government spending to stop, the legislative abuse to stop and the coming tax increases to be stopped, the over 3,000 attendees almost cheered the roof off the place!

Since there have been thousands of Tea Party and citizen rallies across the country beginning in early 2009, those researchers obviously attended the ones I did not attend. I would love to see the research, or hear or see one audio or video clip of a Tea Party speaker uttering one racist word. It does not exist!

It is unfortunate that a once-relevant and impactful organization is looking forrelevance in the wrong place, namely, race. It should be about solving problems and uniting people instead of dividing people with baseless claims of racism.

I have also been called a racist among other names for disagreeing with the president’s policies and those of the Democrat-controlled Congress. But that does not discourage me or other black conservatives from fighting for what we believe, or challenging so-called black establishment organizations such as the NAACP.

Tea Party people are not racist. They are patriotic Americans who want the greatest country in the world to remain the greatest country in the world. We are exercising our right to speak out against bad public policy, even if the president is black.

This isn’t about race. This is about results, and the results by this administration and this Congress are missing in action.

The NAACP has lost its relevance and its way forward. That’s a sin.

Do you want to talk about who the NAACP is linked to? Besides being an overtly racist organization all on its own, I’m sure its members have dallied with the Democratic Socialists (a communist front group), the Black Panthers (a murderous “black liberation” gang from the 60s), and a host of other America-hating, marxist, anti-white hate groups.

In the land of politically correct government speak and policy if you are in a minority then you cannot be racist. They are a special privileged class minorities are. That’s the basis for affirmative action and unfortunatly, the EEOC system is also posioned.

If that isn’t racism I don’t know what is and how we got here has been a long road. Its going to be an even longer road back and possibly a bloody one though I pray not.

I would add that it's also about intimidation (ya'll better stop complaining, and stop now, or we'll label you a hate group [that has really worked...HA!]), coercion (we'll sick the dogs on ya!) and slander (self evident).

It's Sopranoesque in its characteristics.
