Well said. I think it's time to stop calling it "getting it wrong" and say what it really is: lying.
I understand the desire to be civil and polite. I exercise that to a fault a lot of times, especially in discourse with moronic libs, but I do try not to fall into the trap of euphemism. A duck is a duck, and a liberal is a lying sack of.... well, you get the point.
