Sabato tweeted a few days ago that he was in WV and the Anti-Obama sentiment there is rabid. His words were that the Senate race is really “Obama” against “Nobama”. It has little to do with the voters’ views of the real candidates.
I thought I heard he or another pollster make the same statement on the radio however that pollster was quick to add that although they're anti-Obama they're also saying they truly like Manchin and may vote for him regardless. Bad news if true.
