Unfortunately, the young voters probably disapprove of him because he’s not left-wing ENOUGH.

I have a child in their junior year at a well known school in the northeast.

The only time they ever mentioned anything about Obama was to briefly say "he's in over his head". Basically, dismissing him as someone who is not to be taken seriously, and definitely someone not worth arguing over.

This poll doesn't surprise me. I think kids see through the BS. It has nothing to do with political leanings.

I have a Senior who is currently attending job fairs. The news and outlook for the vast majority of the soon to be graduates is very bleak.

Couple the dismal job prospects with the college loan balances and all of a sudden college kids are thinking twice about hope and change.
