Wasn’t she a protege of Scowcroft?
‘enough said.
Methods to me suggest a process or set of procedures. So Condi has parsed this well, because Obama’s decisions, achievements, and lack of action in some cases do indeed suggest he does not have the nation’s best interests in mind.
It reminds me when Dubya had Clinton back to the WH for some ceremony - it might have been the unveiling of BJ’s official portrait. Anyway, Dubya said that nobody enjoyed being president more than Clinton. Everybody in the room (and many here at FR) thought that George Bush was praising Clinton. But, to Bush that was an insult of the subtlest kind. Dubya believes that being president is an awesome responsibility - with solumn duties that are not to be enjoyed for the most part. The hedonistic pleasure that Clinton, and now Hussein and his Wookie, derive from the office is anathema to George W. Bush. Truly a great American (to coin a phrase).
I can’t agree with her. The way the Obama administration is handling the trials for people accused of terrorism against America upsets me and I don’t think its in our interest at all.
