Ron Vera, attorney for the Southeast Cities Schools Coalition can be heard off camera answering questions about the credibility of a board made up of officials whose cities have suffered from their mismanagement. Maywood is a failed city financially, the City of Bell is a failed city financially, Vernon is under massive investigations, and the others have had similar diasters with their finances. If the Southeast Cities Schools Coalition is to exist and function it must have a credible board of directors. George Cole, the recently indicted City of Bell City Councilman helped found this organization. Some wonder if the end game is for some to have greater influence, maybe control, on contracting for the schools in southeast Los Angeles.
The Southeast Cities Schools Coalition has a Governing Board that includes a Councilman from the financially failed city of Maywood, a recently arrested Councilwoman (Teresa Jacobo) from the failed City of Bell, and others from Southeast Los Angeles Cities, including Vernon, whose officials have ties to the recently arrested George Cole of the Steelworkers Oldtimers Association. Cole was also a City of Bell Councilman for many years during which time many shady city transactions occurred. Video shot at Vernon City Hall, Vernon California on October 14th, 2010

These failed cities have a chance at redemption if and only if they all file for Chapter 9 bankruptcy protection immediately.
Whats the difference between the corrupt Bell government employees and the corrupt Federal government?
