Presumptive answer: Because she’s down by 20 points and resources aren’t infinite?
ODonnells comments in her exclusive interview with Fox News followed an offhanded remark she had made in her ninety-minute exchange with Coons: I’ve had to fight my party to be here on this stage to win the nomination, and to some extent I am still fighting my party.…
But when this reporter asked ODonnell herself how she is fighting her own party, the Republican nominee was ready to cite chapter and verse. Tthe Democratic senatorial committee is running ads against me. The Democratic Party is running ads against me, she said. The Republican Party on the state level, or on the national level, neither have come in to help me close the gap in the polls. And my opponent, theres so much to attack him on, yet the NRSC refuses to play, and that, that baffles me. Because hes a hes a sitting duck. Theres a lot to go after him [on].
If Coons, who’s sitting on a giant lead and set to host Obama and Biden tomorrow, is a “sitting duck,” what does that make every other Democrat in the country? The NRSC (and, by extension, conservative outside groups) are looking at tight but winnable races in Nevada, Alaska, Washington, Illinois, and West Virginia; they’ve got healthy but not prohibitive leads in Pennsylvania, Florida, and Missouri; and they’ve got longshots with a prayer in California and Connecticut, neither of whom needs outside money to pay for ads but who’d certainly benefit from any kind of boost. Given all that, would you guys seriously advise Cornyn et al. to pour money into Delaware — at least before you see some movement for O’Donnell in the polls? At AmSpec, Jeffrey Lord cites sources who complain that the NRSC is sitting on $6 million reserved for Marco Rubio. Given that that race could change overnight if Meek dropped out and endorsed Crist, keeping money onhand for an emergency ad buy in an expensive market seems like … a prudent move, quite frankly. And don’t forget that not only does O’Donnell have $4 million in her own coffers, but bashing the NRSC and the Republican “establishment” the way she’s doing right here is bound to squeeze a few more bucks out of voters in the base. In fact, is that what this is about? Just playing good cop/bad cop with the NRSC to rile up conservatives into donating to her again? Or is it a case of setting up the establishment as a scapegoat if she loses? If only the NRSC and Karl Rove had bought her a few extra ads…
I can understand a new ad buy if next week’s polls suddenly show her within nine or 10 points, but until there are signs of life, how is more money at this point a smart expenditure for Cornyn?
True enough. And frankly, I don’t think she wants to win. She just wants to burnish her image enough to get a TeeVee gig on Fox. This campaign has turned into her opportunity to destupidify herself. Problem is, you can’t unring the bell - all the lies she has told are still lies.
I think it was the witchcraft issue and also the I’m You ads.
When I saw the I’m You ads that she put out, I lost interest in her campaign. She is not a serious candidate.
I was furious with Karl Rove that night as well, turns out he was right.
You apparently have difficulty recognizing the real rat hole. Look for the likes of Marxist Coons, Obama, Reid, Pelosi, Dodd and Barny Frank and you will find the real rat hole.
It's time to send a message to them...
& rem: to bring "the tools".
They've got the microphone and the audience, we don't. “To whom much is given, much is required” as the Good Book says.
So, which is it going to be, boys?
I don’t trust anything with Allah in its name.
Mitt Romney will use Scott Brown to attack Sarah Palin as his surrogate. The other RINO goons that do Mitt’s dirty work will be Steve Schmitt, Karl Rove, John McCain and Ann Coulter. Mitt Romney is a cowardly POS. Good luck to Sarah and let’s hope she’s prepared for the onslaught.
Money, meet waste of.
This race in Delware is not over yet. The Left must love the way we throw our people over at any sign of trouble.
Today is 10/15...the election isn’t until 11/2. I still very good about this race. Something just stinks about these polls.
If she somehow manages to win - and Delawares polling data is notoriously inaccurate, especially this year - shell remember this non support.
The GOP establishment is trying to make an example of her. Sending a signal to the tea party movement that they better “get in line or suffer the consequences.”
Of course, the GOP establishment is the one that has failed to learn the lesson from all this. The days of nominating candidates that are unacceptable to the GOP base are over. It was the GOP establishment that refused to work with the base to find a candidate that the base could support (without holding their noses and taking a bath to wash off the liberal stench) that was also “electable.”

Are you serious? After the non-stop attacks from the Left and she’s stronger than ever!
You seriously think some RINO’s can take her down? Whatever...
Sure, they'd rather withhold it to make sure an establishment rat stays in power. ~ Michael Savage has been right for years in his assertion that both parties have rotted to the core.
Limbaugh, Hannity and company must go on the attack against Mitt Romney, Scott Brown, Karl Rove and Steve Schmitt immediately after the RINOS launch their first attack on Sarah after the mid-terms.
Romney’s RINOs must be de-fanged immediately and as quickly as possible.
“I was furious with Karl Rove that night as well, turns out he was right.”
No, he was a stupid mole then, and he is a stupid mole now.
Stupid moles are an abundant species close to elections.
Coulter’s latest claim is to back the pro-illegal immigrant Gov. Christie for president in 2012.
Their take would be that if she’s too wacko even for Rove...
Because she's been living off her campaign funds from her previous two runs for Senate for the past four years.
Now she's finally hit the jackpot by raising all this money and you're going to tell her to fritter it all away on ads?
+1
Because they have as much invested in her defeat as the RATS do!
