Campaigning against the voters backfires. Go figure!
Another poll brings more bad news for Democrats. Ho hum, bottom story of the day. But wait. This survey, from the Hill, may tell us something about what's driving all the other polls: "Likely voters in battleground districts see extremists as having a more dominant influence over the Democratic Party than they do over the GOP."
This is not a nationwide poll, but that makes it even more troubling for the Dems. Of the 10 "toss-up" House districts polled, nine elected Democrats in 2008. (One subsequently switched to Republican in a special election.) On the whole, then, these are moderate districts that have recently leaned donkward--the very voters the Democrats would need to hold if they were to preserve their majorities.
The poll--conducted by the Democratic-leaning firm of Penn, Schoen & Berland--found that 44% of likely voters in these districts "say the Democratic Party is more dominated by its extreme elements." Only 37% say the same about the GOP. Independents split 43% to 37%, almost the same as for the population as a whole. Twenty-two percent of Democrats think their own party is in the extremists' grip; only 11% of Republicans say the same about the GOP.

A look at Fox Compared to MSNBC can explain it. Fox spends its time exposing and attacking the attempted Communist takeover. MSLSD Spends its energy attacking Free Enterprise and...Americans.
I like him.
More highlights--Bwaney Fwank trying to tap dance his way out of his egregious conduct in the Fanny/Freddie mess:
....Frank, in his most detailed explanation to date about his actions, said in an interview he missed the warning signs because he was wearing ideological blinders. He said he had worried that Republican lawmakers and the Bush administration were going after Fannie and Freddie for their own ideological reasons and would curtail the lenders' mission of providing affordable housing.
He’s cool, just like you, 002!
