How dumb is this, I thought she was supposed to be a lawyer!!
She may have been a lawyer at one time, but I don’t think she’s licensed to practice now.
HOWEVER...that doesn’t excuse her from knowing the law.
And...BTW...if she had been pulled over for a traffic violation, ignorance of the law is not an excuse.
That being said...she knows those folks, and they don’t mind her being there.
