I think anybody who’s occupied this office has to remember that success is determined by an intersection in policy and politics and that you can’t be neglecting of marketing and P.R. and public opinion.

He's actually correct in this overall assessment. Where he goes wrong is: 1) His policies suck, 2) His politics suck, 3) His marketing sucks, 4) His P.R. sucks, and lastly 5) His tin-ear to public opinion sucks.

Otherwise he's right on the money about what the job of President encompasses, too bad he's not up to the job.
