I think she was the clear winner tonight. Those watching should have gotten a whole new picture of who she is and what she knows. She got way more zingers in then he could respond to.

I loved the fuel cell question that had Coons backtracking. I will give Wolf credit for asking COD to be specific about what she meant. I bet he thought that COD would be unable to answer it. Coons looked like a liar when he had to amend his initial resonse, which he clearly tried to fudge with his “to the best of his knowledge.” It actually helped COD’s credibility.

Nothing elitist - she doesn’t have full command of conservative positions and how to close the sale in the timeframe allotted. Health care presented a good example - she could have stated that never in American history has the federal government forced the American people to purchase a product or service - an infringement on our liberty.
COD has the right ideas and she has the talking points down pat, but I question whether there is a deep philosophical understanding of her positions.

Yeah, I think she did OK. There were times when she slipped a bit but this debate was not on national television. The moderator's were extremely bias against COD. It was probably viewed by only political junkies. I think she needs to put out more serious campaign commercials to close the gap.

I’m in New Mexico. I turned off Mark Levin to follow this debate.

Castle would have beaten Coons, but then for six years would have voted like Snowe and Collins, enabling the dems to crow about bipartisan support. You get my vote for best post of this thread.

Things like how high the voice is.
And, even bigger than that, how attractive the candidate is.
And, sorry for Coons here, Christine looks great and Coons looks like a cross between Les Nessman and Montgomery Burns.
Yes, nonideologicals vote on superficial issues. And Christine wins big over Coons on that.
The bar was set low for Christine. And she won outright.

Palin’s question was on the tenants of the Bush Doctrine.

She did great but yes, she could have at least mentioned Kelo. Eminent Domain and the Kelo Decision pissed everyone off. Talk about government overreach.

No-just plain wrong.
She demonstrated a lot of depth. I was really impressed with her easy ability to bring in peripheral issues to her points.

Christine did great! However, I am so DAMN SICK AND TIRED of biased lefty moderators I could chew nails. Time after time after time it's stinking leftists that are RAT through and through. The GOP better start, and I mean RIGHT NOW, to demand some conservative questioners be thrown into the mix. Enough of this crap.

There have been some pretty good decisions recently.
She answered about Roe accurately when Wolf brought it up.
