Thanks for the info. But like I said—seriously—I’m not questioning the validity of your documents. At all. I just note that (1) the thing Obama posted looks just like the thing you have, and (2) there’s a discrepancy on yours, which to me shows how easily government records and documents can get messed up in processing entirely by accident.
The only other thing is that I doubt anyone has to type in each field, each time, in such a computer-generated form. That’d kind of defeat the purpose of putting it all in a database. For some reason we will never know, pulling up your name or SS# or whatever they use didn’t pull up the island. It means nothing. I have long been of the opinion that computers are the reason for the saying, “Stuff happens” (SFW version).
LOL
My friend, you are talking about an office that has a fan for an air conditioner. The office itself hasn’t been remodeled or updated in.. shoot... it has to be a while. Trust me, we aren’t talking about a state of the art office here. I am darned certain that they have a standard form, and information is hand typed into those fields.
Am I certain on that? No.
But I do know that it takes the deliberate attention of a human being to create a COLB. That much was told to me by one of the clerks I have spoken to over the last couple of years. They don’t just hit a key sequence and have a COLB pop out. Someone types those records in. It’s little wonder why it can take weeks to get a request filled.... But Hawaiians aren’t known for rushing much to begin with. Its a far more laid back lifestyle and culture.
I hope that helps some.
