Its the truth that isn’t said enough. Capitalism is God-given. It has pulled more people out of poverty, sickness, starvation and misery over the last 200 years than anything in the previous history of man. It creates innovative solutions to problems. It has made disaster prevention much easier. It is one of the most beneficial things God ever put in the mind of Man. I thank God that He put Capitalism on earth and here is yet another example of how it has saved lives.

The miners are also very fortunate in having Sebastian Pinera as their president, a man with both academic AND executive experience who did not hesitate to show leadership and do what he could when all his advisers were warning him not to risk his political capital by getting involved in a private mining accident. He made sure that the various branches of government did NOT get in the way.
Obama would still be on vacation...
