Final Gubernatorial Face-Off Tonight
NBC hosts event at Dominican University of California; Watch live at 6:30 p.m.
Given the recent fireworks in the "Campaign to Run the Most-Bankrupt State in the Union," we're thinking tonight's debate will make for some really, really good TV.
Jerry Brown's camp is having to work around a staffer using the word "whore" very near the words "Meg Whitman" in a recent message mishap.
Whitman's camp is still dealing with the fallout of illegal labor at her Mountain View home from back in the day.

Brokaw.
Ahh, Brokaw doing a “fact check” to cover for Brown and slam Reagan all in the same breath. BARF!
Has anyone asked Brown how many illegal aliens he has dealt with as atty. gen.,,,,,will they?
God in heaven, please spare us another reign of the sexually-ambiguous, morally-bankrupt Jerry Brown.
Jerry Brown talks like he’s on uppers. He’s zonked on amphetamines.
Jerry Brown just supported AMNESTY 100% and says he is not tied to the UNIONS! Bawawawawaa!
totally partisan crowd
Brokaw was not so “fair and balanced” tonight.
Good God he admitted he had them in his back pocket
Whitman still getting hammered on the amount of money she's spent on her campaign. Stupid. Jerry Brown is a household name. Whitman a virtual unknown. Why not provide some summary of the amount of money that has been spent backing Brown for the last 40 years?
Any more updates? Must be a boring debate.
Thanks
I thought one of Whitman's most interesting criticisms of Brown was his continual description of himself as a man of "process" -- where Whitman was trying to differentiate herself as someone who could tackle systemic problems. I would have liked to see her elaborate on that since it's a fundamental difference between the two.
I don’t watch debates any more. Even when the good guy wins the debate (as with Hayworth), it means nothing. Voters still make mistake after mistake.
Well, don’t the people of CA deserve Jerry Brown for eternity. They created him and fostered him over 30+ years.
