The U.S. Environment Protection Agency set off a warning bell when it released a preliminary assessment of the health risks associated to a Teflon-related chemical found in consumer products from Teflon pans and Gore-Tex jackets to water-resistant carpets.

PFOA has been poisoning people for years. Chris Coons went to Amherst and Yale with his stepdad's money from Gore-tex, which uses PFOA in it's manufacturing process. And then went on to work for WL Gore.
Don't vote Coons if you want to be healthy. If you enjoy making money from poisoning people, or you just enjoy being poisoned, Coons is your man.
And the EPA now classifies spilt milk the same as oil. Nice to tie it to Coons in an attempt to get people on your side but I’m gonna need a hell of a lot more than that.
Have not had teflon lined cookware in our house since obtaining our Parrotlet and Cockatoo. We learned early in just overheating one of these pans would release a gas that would be fatal to our feathered kids.

I my house has been a Teflon free zone, my cockatiel and black capped conure appreciate it!
Wow, who knew.
I will definately NOT vote for Coons.
What?
Ya, I live in Alaska, so maybe it’s not such a big deal, eh?
OH, and I use cast iron cook ware.
Sorry - but thanks for posting the EPA info.
These stories I’m posting are designed to provide information to those who might find themselves arguing with a Democrat about O’Donnell and Coons.
As far as I know, O’Donnell did not get millions of dollars from poisoning people. Coons did.
I prefer not being poisoned.

His mother married Robert Gore, whose family founded W. L. Gore & Associates, makers of
Gore-Tex fabric, and Mr. Coons went to high school at Tower Hill, a prestigious private academy
where he ran cross-country, wrestled and read a lot of books, said Charles Chesnut,
a close friend since elementary school.
In the mid-1990s, he moved back to Delaware; married (he and his wife now have three children);
and went to work as a lawyer for the Gore corporation, a position he kept
while serving in the part-time, elected position of president of the New Castle County Council from 2000 to 2004.

In 1996, Coons returned to Delaware and took a job as in-house counsel for W.L. Gore & Associates,
which was founded by his stepfather, Robert Gore, and is the maker of Gore-Tex fabrics.

On Oct. 7, O’Donnell re-appeared with the same dark background as in the “I’m not a witch” ad, but this time
the focus was on Coons, a graduate of Amherst and Yale whose stepfather, Robert Gore,
is president of W.L. Gore, maker of Gore-Tex fabrics.
“I didn’t go to Yale. I didn’t inherit millions like my opponent. I’m you,” she says,
bathed in soft light. “I know how tough it is to make and keep a dollar.”
