When will they put that Coons back in the cage? Dangerous to let some critters like that one run around in public.

O’Donnell wins any debate on the basis of expectations alone. The media have people thinking she won’t be a able to construct a sentence.

I think the worry here is that Coons is a master debater (excuse the pun). He’s great at talking his opponent in circles, entrapment and avoiding a topic or question and turning it back on his opponent. All necessary skills for a Marxist.

O’Donnell would do well to keep her head and talk simple, down home conservatism. It’s still common sense vs emotion.

16 points is a lot to make up for.
If she keeps the conservative message, she should cream him.

Any “debate” is won by the candidate who best ignores the questions and sticks to one’s own message. I wonder about the format, though. Is there direct interaction between the opponents?

Coons isn’t a master anything. He’s a 3rd rate backbencher who was picked to be a sacrificial lamb and make way for Senator Mike Castle. He was put in this race to lose, which is probably why the national Dems are so concerned about the race in spite of his lead in the polls.

Did you notice that in the article they only interviewed Dems and independents?

And this may be why Obama/DSCC just crapped in their pants and are sending more resources to DE. CO is provoking enough interest amongst D and I’s that as more get to know her the more likely a chance they would vote for her.

If she shows herself as a capable candidate in this debate, this election could get real tight real quick.

This is going to be a set up for Christine. Coons will get softball questions and Christine will get questions that begin with “Some are saying......”

Christine is a great speaker. She should just be herself. Her ads seem contrived. I know they are, but they aren't supposed to sound like it. Personally I think she will wipe the floor with Coons. She has a sharp wit. She is a natural. If people are expecting to see some bumbling idiot, they should be surprised. All the stump videos and speeches and interviews (except Bill Moron 10 years ago) that I have seen, I have been impressed! They are trying to do a Palin on her. We see where that got them.

The only poll to worry about is the final one on Election Day. I think there will be quite a few HIGHLY unpleasant suprises for the DemocRATS when all the votes are tallied. Perhaps, this race will be among them, as well.

You all be on standby, I just received a call and made another donation to her. I think I would rather see her win than dirty harry. If we elect enough senators he won’t be the lead dirty dem anyway.
