Obama's chamber attacks - Will voters care?
Politico ^ | Oct. 11, 2010 | Stuart Gottlieb

And we all know that the idea that Obama was going to "transform American politics" was a myth, much like the Yeti, or its North American cousin, the Sasquatch.

But Obama and the DNC's baseless attacks on alleged foreign corporate donations to conservative political campaign organizations -- as if private liberal campaign groups have not reaped in tens of millions of dollars from undisclosed corporate and other funding sources since 2006 -- is simply astounding.

Let's put it this way: When the New York Times, Washington Post, and CBS News all declare the attacks to be without merit, something, somewhere, has gone very, very, wrong in Democratic Party Land.

Well, I care that Obama is abusing the office of the president to make serious accusations that he has zero evidence to support. He should be sued for libel, and then impeached if found guilty. America can no longer afford to have a criminal in the white house.

It’ll blow over... The media hasn’t stopped their fellatio of the Great One. They know this cycle is lost, they’re selling papers and ads right now. The new story after the election will be more approval of Obama’s class warfare bs and ‘Republican Obstructionism.’ Trust me, they are looking forward to pinning all of Obama’s failures on Republicans and letting Obama steal those few successes that we’re going to have.

ACORN used our own taxpayer money against us by donating it to Liberal candidates. Who investigated them?

Politico is Hillary’s PR arm, founded by several of her backers. Hillary’s 2012 campaign to rescue the Democrat Party has begun. Obama is toast.

They cant say its the Republicans Fault,They Opposed all His Policies that the Media say now are making things worse, that Makes The Republicans.
I agree that they will Try to Blame Republicans and being as Feckless as the Republicans are they will let them get away with it,but it just doesnt make sense to say Obama has Failed when he has passed his Obamacare Disaster,Bailed out the Unions,Controls the Banks,Car Companies etc. and then say because the Republicans voted AGAINST all these Disasters it is their Fault.
Its Like claiming those Lousy Republicans are Taking Foreign Money for their Campaign,Millions!!!!
From Who the Foreigners who we are always told that Adore the Messiah are now Funding his Political Enemies?

This baseless attack on the chamber of commerce is going to finish off a lot of local democrats who, until now, might have had a chance at winning.

This is all so typical of libtards that I doubt it works anymore. Accuse conservatives, with no evidence, of what THEY THEMSELVES ARE DOING AND HAVE DONE. Probably half of Zero’s $400 million spent on 2008 were from “unaccountable sources” and only God himself knows how much of that was from Saudi and Indonesia.

It’s OK. Klinton got caught taking money from the Chicoms, so it’s OK, everybody get back to licking his axx now, and telling us he was a great Prez.

Notice that any and all private sector organizations are attacked by this administration. Evil corporations, "big" business of any stripe (read "successful"), doctors who "cut off limbs unnecessarily, manufacturers who "send jobs over seas", and now the Chamber of Commerce.

Obama is obviously at war with the private sector, and even people employed by government instinctively sense that this could go way, way wrong.

Maybe voters recall former Vice President Al Gore and his plea of “no controlling legal authority” and what that was all about, viz., foreign money.

“Obama is in full panic mode.”

I think he’s actually passed through panic and is now in full flail.

Will voters care?

No! Hardcore Democrats will attempt to use this and other smears but it does not matter to middle America.

Even if it was true (and I don’t believe for a minute it is any more than a baseless charge like all so many others) we don’t care.

The Democrats have taken us down a road we don’t want to go down. So in this election the only thing that matters is that the candidate they are voting for is NOT a Democrat.

In a way, you have to give President Obama credit for bringing the people together, against him and his party.
