I observed the McClungs briefly, when they were doing the meet-and-greet, at the Pima County AZ fairgrounds, when Palin and McCain showed up there for a rally.

The impression I got was that they were genuinely nice, ordinary, down to earth people. One of us. God bless her for running against the Raul Grijava (Communist - Mexico) machine. The guy is a dirtbag, and that's being mild.
