I remember the days of bomb shelters, as well. And I remember the Cuban Missile Crisis as a high school student. We were all a little nervous and worried that the US would get hit by a nuclear bomb, but my father my fears to rest when he assured me that the USSR would not destroy our country. Their desire, he told me, was to take over the USA and seize its natural resources, industries, and agricultural operations, which would no longer exist if they nuked us. A lot of anxiety left me when I heard that.

Today, I can’t be comforted by that sort of explanation because there are many mohammedans whose major goal is to totally destroy the world in order to precipitate the coming of the 12th imam. Achmadinejad (sp?) is one such maniac. They have no interest in keeping our country or theirs intact.

The world truly is one big playground and little bullies will pop-up from time to time. What these wannabees need to remember is that there is one person on the playground you should never cross: America.

With the current pacifist in chief, don't look for this 'respect' to last very long. In fact, he is an invitation to flex muscle against America. You see, one can't explain and talk until blue in the face, with the expectation that an opponent will back down.

No, it takes a little force- a shove or a convincing push- to get them to re-think their position. I learned this in the first or second grade, being taller than most of my friends had something to do with it.

Nothing has changed from yesterday's playgrounds to the world's playground today.
