I guess that video at the end is supposed to scare me or somethin'.

If we truly had the “right to bear arms” I could own my own howitzer. On 2nd thought I guess if I really wanted one, I could own a “non-functional” howitzer, but no shells.
If that upsets our Lib audience, so be it.

The same reason I should own a water meter valve handle, or a pressure cooker, or a soldering iron, or a clutch plate to flywheel alignment tool for a '70 240Z. Each of those tools has been useful in the past, and may be useful again.
I used a revolver with snake-shot 5 times last year at ranges of less than 2 meters to keep from dying from rattle-snake bite.
Is a pretty handy tool, depending on where you live.

Ermy did a show from the Knob Creek Shoot one year. Great stuff! My son used to drive up from Montgomery, AL to participate. His class three license had him bringing some really nifty stuff, too! He even developed a line of sub-sonic 9mm ammo and sold it up there.

I would like to own something really cutting edge. Like a shoulder launched heat seeking personnel rocket. The kind of thing that could shoot around corners and hit its target by thermal signature. I know it is out there.

Screw the gun-grabbers, when Dr. Trips hits and/or the Zombie apocalypse begins, I’ll be sitting pretty on my little arsenal. Mwahahahaha.

Har Har.
I shoot over at Knob Creek. FYI, Project Appleseed is holding an event there on 10/23 & 10/24, for which I have registered.
And personally I think it is pretty darn funny:
Why Should I Own a Gun?
Personal protection
Sport shooting
Hunting
Competition
Just because the Democrats dont want you to have one
Want to know what my daughter said when she moved out here to KY? Hey dad, let’s get our CCDW licenses just because it it will piss off the liberals.

And fortunately for me the Knob Creek Gun Range website even includes a little tip on what kind of pistol is good for a woman. The answer is guns in the 38 caliber to 9-mm range. Pff, and I thought general understanding and higher education would protect me. Actually, I think anyone, especially a woman, would be better served by a slightly larger caliber pistol. Less flip, more push. With even a little practice that should virtually eliminate potential 9mm cycling issues that new shooters can have. Not to mention increased stopping power and quicker second shots on target...
Have to say that I have never seen general understanding or higher education protect someone from a mugger, rapist, home intruder, violent spouse, etc...

we need some level-headed people with the machine capability to mow down anyone that stands in their way of having rights. Stripped of the childish rhetoric& inane context, she is correct.
That is exactly why the 2nd amendment is incorporated in the Constitution.
After all, George Washington and the other forefathers of America did not sit down to tea with the English.
They shot them.

Roughly. I use metric measure for baking, but not weighing meat, for measures dealing with firearms, but not land measurement. Go figure. You want consistant, hire a continuity editor. ;)

I notice that she doesn't have her finger inside the trigger guard. Good girl.
Cool chick gun. Too bad they weren't around in the '80s.

No rules against picking and choosing your weights and measures units. Not yet, anyway.

There is nothing more fun than firing a crew served weapon. GIs piss and moan when the have to go to the M16 or pistol range but schedule an M60 or M2 range and everyone is gung-ho. Belt fed = fun!
