Just to be clear, whenever I’m talking about this stuff, it is as an observer of current events, a student of history, and someone with an understanding of the heritage to which americans connect themselves when determining what they should do.
The declaration of independence is seen virtually as a holy document by many americans, and many of them would say it applies more today than it did when originally penned. The question is, are there any today that are willing to give up their “comfort” to make things better.
As for me and mine, our “what if” plan is to move to our farm in Kentucky and, if it comes to really bad stuff, be self sufficient there. We are not about “killing” the beast. We are about starving it - going off the grid.
Those trapped in urban areas may be forced into a different path.
