That’s a mighty low bar over much of the country.

Bawney Fwank knows lots of illegals are voting, so they should be able to work. The murdering illegal arrested in Texas a few years ago had his Democrat voter registration card in his wallet. (Happily, he has already been executed...another reason we love Texas.)

Ergo, felons either should never work again, or should never lose their vote. My response is simple: Anyone who can vote should have the right to own guns. If, for some reason, The Left thinks someone shouldn’t have guns, then they don’t vote.*

*This needs a check of some kind, so they don’t decide that Rs and Ls (1) can’t vote and (2) can’t have guns.

Barney, your Freudian slip is showing.

He just revealed the bottom line for Democrats regarding the illegal immigration issue—it’s all about votes.

No problem! We’ll just let the illegals vote, and then they can work, too!

R I G H T !!!!!!

AND you can't vote, if you can't speak or write in English!!

So all you f*&^ing idiots out there who like to say that ‘English first’ is some evil Conservative plot to interfere with the cultural heritage of naturalized Americans, can p^%$ off!!!!

My grandparents, had to learn English and at least enough to READ so they could VOTE their OWN choice. They did this because their alternative was deportation. No tickie/no laundry!!!!

America had the ‘literacy’ requirement because if immigrants remained illiterate, they would be the prey of unscrupulous politicians or groups who would only exploit them for their vote! SMART IDEA!!!

I guess Bwarney Fwank is a wascist now. He must hate Latinos just as much as all those “right wing extremists” who think foreigners ought to get permission before entering and working in another country. /sarc

He is definitely an idiot. Many people who are not eligble to vote are eligble to work. LEGAL immigrants who are permanent residents, but not citizens, convicted felons, people under the age of 18, guest workers, student visa holders, etc..

And employers better damn well make sure they are eligible in all 57 states, too.

The MSM always assures us that illegals can’t vote. But look at the illegal housekeeper story out in CA. If that women had a forged SS card that passed muster to get a job. She could just have easily registered to vote. It’s been my experience that they don’t look to closely when you register. I don’t think they even asked for any sort of ID the last time I registered. I imagine that many illegals do vote, if they’re going to break the law by entering the country why would anyone think they would care about breaking the law by registering to vote.

How about we do it this way Barney?

How about they don’t work or drive until the can prove they are in the country legally and don’t vote until they can prove they are actual CITIZENS!

There also should be a simple, elementary test before someone be allowed to vote, which would be given by the several states. I think even a sixth grade civics test would eliminate about half of the ACORN type people. No sarc.
