When the big on happens it will have effects nationwide. Interstate/state highway bridges over major rivers, oil and natural gas lines, electrical transmission lines and communication lines are vulnerable.
Where can I find a map of this fault line?
Don’t know if you’ve heard about this. Interesting, considering your Enemies series.
Here's the problem ~ this latest quake occurred in the Ouchita mountains, not on the New Madrid fault.
You can find maps of individual quakes here:

The last one shook enough to ring church bells in Boston. Next one is apt to do a lot of direct damage to more than long line infrastructure.
Certain of our opponents will be emboldened by this act of allah.

"After years of neglect, denial and mismanagement, the New Madrid Fault let fly today in a stunning repudiation of Bush era "do-nothing" policies..."
Maybe they’ll get a volcano.
That fault’s a bad ‘un!
“Where can I find a map of this fault line?”
Look for Rush’s house - it’s right near there.

You’re right. It’s a VERY bad one...because of its depth and the layers of sedimentary rock. Because of its geologic structure based in sedimentary rock, the damage it can cause is up to twenty times greater than those on the West Coast.
Are you trying to say this is Bush’s fault(line)?
There were a few small quakes yesterday. I was in Memphis last night and the seismograph at the Pink Palace was registering a few tremors. When the New Madrid goes, it will be catastrophic.
Thank you for the links. I have family in this area, so it concerns me. Some of them are survivalists, and I’m sure they’re prepared. One is in college in Bowling Green, KY.
Let’s hope it doesn’t happen for another hundred years. Maybe earthquake prediction will be perfected by then, and everyone can have plenty of notice.
Thank you both!
