She has every right to be enraged about colonialism, as anyone with the indigenous tribal name of Fernandez de Kirchner should be.
And they’ll do it again, too.
BTW, guilty.
I’ll bet that Margaret Thatcher still could kick this corrupt politician’s butt. She would be cleaning homes if not for her husband’s scheming to get her elected. I would feel sorry for Argentinians except they keep bringing it upon themselves by electing slime.
Argentina has no more right to claiming the Falkland Islands than India does. The islands were settled by the British. The limited population are British descendants and speak English. Tell this idiot to shove it.
LO...doesn’t she/he/it call Chavez a friend?
Somebody refresh my memory. Who was it that seized all of the private retirement accounts in her country?
The last time i saw a mouth like that it had a hook in it.
Pirates actually have ships.
oh you mean, their own government?
Handy this happening just as the future of the two RN carriers is being decided by the ConDem government. I wonder if Kirchner is being given backhanders by the first sealord?
¨English pirates!¨ —Elizabeth (Kapur)
Argentina has as much of a valid claim to the Falkland Islands as the Untied States has to Cuba.
“On the 9th February 1935, in Buenos Aires—a polo match, between a team of leading Argentine players and the touring British side. The British ambassador said he had never seen a social occasion quite like it. Even by the standards of Buenos Aires society the gathering at the polo ground glittered. The Rolls and the Daimlers, the hampers from Harrods, the clothes, the diamonds, the crystal, the wines, the procession of nannies from England and France. The result of the match? Oh yes— the home team won, but as the British ambassador pointed out, that did not reflect badly on British horsemanship. Three of the Argentine players were educated at Eton.”
“Don’t make us come over there and kick your ass again.”
That’s her Laz face.
It’s worth noting that Argentina was a rich country by Western European standards 100 years ago. Lots of socialist and fascist autocracy (two sides of the same coin, when it gets right down to it) and you have a country that barely has a pot to pi** in.
Yes and Argentina is not alone in that very dubious distinction. In the 1840’s little Paraguay has a steel industry with an annual output greater than the US steel industry at the time. Then their crazy dictator decided to go to war with five of his neighbors at once. The war lasted 20 years and when it was over the population of Paraguay had been reduced to 3 million women and about 30,000 men. South America is an ongoing study in disastrous government actions.
If they scrap over this again, I hope the Limeys blow the crap out of Argentina, invade it, and take it over. It certainly isn’t fit to run itself.
Looks like she is describing what happened the last time she met with Hugo Chavez
Lol, good catch!
