Paladino calls gays 'dysfunctional'
Associated Press ^ | REUVEN FENTON and JEREMY OLSHAN

Carl Paladino says it’s not okay to be gay.

"There is nothing to be proud of in being a dysfunctional homosexual," the Republican gubernatorial candidate told a small Hasidic group at K’hal Adas Kasho synagogue in Williamsburg today.

"That's not how god created us, and that's not the example that we should be showing our children."

Paladino, who has made his opposition to the gay marriage and "the homosexual agenda" clear, went much further yesterday, to say children "would be much better off and much more successful getting married and raising a family" than being gay."

"And I don't want them to be brainwashed into thinking that homosexuality is an equally valid and successful option," he said. "It isn't."

The speech came just days after the suicide of a gay Rutgers student and an anti-gay gang attack in the Bronx.

His Democratic opponent, Andrew Cuomo, blasted the remarks as "stunning homophobia and a glaring disregard for basic equality."

A campaign spokesman said "These comments along with other views he has espoused make it clear that he is way out of the mainstream a

I don’t care what anyone is doing in the bedroom either, but making it “legal” ? What does that mean? We don’t need the government “legalizing” sexual behaviour. Just like we didn’t need the government “legalizing” murder by abortion.’ Do what you need to do, and don’t make me pay for it. Keep the government out of it and take responsibility for your own actions, whatever they may be.

I get what your point is—and you’re right—this will not play well politically—but then again Cuomo is such a lying thug who knows how things will go.

What I struggle with is this: I do not want to persecute gays—ever—on this matter I say live and let live.

BUT I do resist what seems to be an all out campaign to create “parity” between hetero and homosexual lifestyles.

This is just a propaganda fantasy perpetuated by the liberal establishment —but the youth buys it, they experiment in ways they would never even dreamed of-—in fact they feel by experimenting, they are showing what ‘good people’ they are, so non-judgemental etc, and the outcome for many is a fog of cynicism, depression, confusion, “I don’t really know what/who I am”.

Youth are hammered every moment through media, pop culture to completely reshape their instinctive inclinations—lest they are uncool uptight, “bigots”. And our youth is our future of course.

Just great.

So to comfort a small minority, we illogically turn our entire values structure and definition of our natural identities on it’s head. it is utterly insane.

And truthfully it is overtime that we start re-calibrating some sanity back into this world of ours before we take a mass lemmings leap off the cliff.

How we reconcile common sense and moral values and NOT ‘depress” homosexuals is the tough part—in other words, because we don’t mindlessly cheer, “Hey! Your lifestyle is a completely valid option—JUST AS GOOD AS THE MAN/WOMAN CHOICE— for today’s young people thinking about the future!

Sorry, in this case the majority well being and systemic health of our natural way of life should win out.

Case closed.

I can’t believe your comment. So you’re saying that homosexuals are actually nicer than normal people.

Anyone who’s seen photos or footage of “Gay Pride” parades or read what their sexual habits are, the diseases that are common among them, or their agenda especially in public schools, knows that the homosexual life and agenda are dangerous.

Could you give an example of a vitriolic comment? Just I know what you mean.

BTW, Yaelle consistently promotes the lying homosexual agenda talking points that homosexuals are born that way and cannot change.

Neither is true.

Just on one thread today two posters mentioned several relatives or people they knew who quit the “gay” life - and subsequently had happy marriages. The large numbers of former homosexuals is a truth that the media and purveyors of the homosexual agenda don’t want anyone to know.

Our country will never get goodies such as a thriving economy or principled leaders unless and until we as a people return to God.

No, it is not a politicians role to get people to "return to God". That is the role of the church, family, social groups, etc. We'd like our politicians to be as moral as possible, reflect traditional views and generally be decent people - but at the end of the day politicians need to represent their constituents which may mean being tolerant of a wide range of social views/lifestyles.

I have been very near politics since I was in utero, and I know that separating politics from moral issues is the biggest mistake that a people can make.

Naturally you can't completely separate morality from politics, but a politicians chief role is not to convert the masses to Christianity. A political party needs to actually win elections to make any positive change. Nominate the most conservative candidate that can actually win, and in the case of dark blue states those candidates will often end up not being particularly socially conservative.

You can not ever hope to win blue urban areas, districts and states if you don't run candidates that appeal to the voters in those areas. This means in a state like New York you campaign heavily on the economy and jobs, and largely avoid things like denouncing gays or harping on social issues that run counter to voters views on the subject.

I am so sick of your promoting the lie that people are born homosexual.

You are condemning people to a life of sickness and dsyfunction with that lie.

People are liberated by truth, not by the chains of lies.

Cuomo doesn’t think the people of NYS are equal to *him*, and we’re supposed to get all worked up about his statement regarding homosexual equality?

I’m not a scientist, but I honestly think that there are a small percentage of what I call ‘biochemical gays”. Born gay.

Which is why I’m so insistent that they, like any other human beings, should never be persecuted.

On the other hand, I think there is a growing number of confused people—that are dipping into the lifestyle because to do so has become cool du jour and supposedly indicates a “cosmopolitan” point of view.

All of which is a sick crock and bends too many fragile minds and wrecks lives by contriving people away from their natural inclinations.

This is my outrage with all this political/cultural push to create parity between normal and yes, abnormal lifestyles.

I think many female gays are psychological rather than ‘chemical”....harsh treatment or rejection by males turns them to each other. Many gay female couples are very light on the sex, it is primarily loyalty and partner bonding.

From what I understand about male gays, it is more of a “no rules” sexfest for many since males generally share less discriminating boundaries, as long as the willing is available—I do believe today many male gays are psychologically rather than chemically gay too, but get caught up in the ‘no-strings’ candy store of all the sex they want with others of similar appetite, so they just shapeshift themselves into the gay scene, driven by lust.

Pretty thin on the deep connection quotient.

“The fact is, it is the province of pyschologists to determine what is dysfunctional behavior.”

No, they don’t really have a clue on this issue.

Awww, poor, put upon homosexuals (and their abettors).

We didn't start this fire, they did.

They have spent the last 30 years dressing up anal sex in flowery civil rights language...spreading “normal and natural” propaganda in our school K-12, our colleges and Congress WORSHIP them as the new oppressed minority and daily threatens preachers and everyday Americans with “hate speech" laws, Hollywood pays them millions to appear and to be characterized in theaters, and on TV from 8am to 11pm, they have a mafia who threatens ruination of their fellow citizens, they demand special heathcare treatment worldwide, they have conventions, fairs, and parades, so vile and sick that the pictures of the Folsom Street Fair can't even be posted here.

They promote openly and proudly their dangerous death-style with impunity. They do not keep their sex lives to themselves, and yet demand that we bow our heads, cast down our eyes, cover our ears, and zip our lips or we are nosey haters (or homosexuals deep inside and just don't know it yet, or my favorite...we must not KNOW a homosexual)

No they (and their abettors) just don't like pushback...not at all.

Having read up about the homosexual agenda for many years, I can tell you factually that even homosexual scientists looking for a chemical, genetic, or any kind of biological “born that way” proof for homosexuality have never found it and had to admit defeat.

No one is born homosexual. They become that way, most of them by being molested/seduced by homosexuals when they are young. Those who are vulnerable are sought out by older homosexuals. This is known and admitted.

And there are many former homosexuals; many organizatsions both secular and faith based that help homosexuals who are not happy and want to change.

The lie that they are born that way keeps them chained, just like slaves, with shackles.

No, it is not a politicians role to get people to "return to God".

I never said that.

Since your response was based on a statement I never made, my responding to you further would only be a waste of my time and intellect.

Being Gay is more akin to being a drug (or should I say dung)addict or an alcoholic. In other words, there is something wrong with these people.
