Tell me is there any circumstance that would make you consider secession as a viable means of political action to preserve liberty? If not, do you blame the many conservatives in Germany who opposed Hitler but eventually fought for the third Reich and "did their duty" despite not really wanting to help or be Nazi fascists?
Secession? Never. To what purpose secession? In the midst of one of the largest areas of land mass and population density on the North American Continent in a society of nearly unfathomable diversity of freedom, materialism, safety, comfort and afforded protection by representitive democracy, plurality of thought and speech and association and protected by the largest and most lethal military history has ever seen and suddenly allow it to start dis- integrating into a Balkanized, fractured mess?
