Live from Philadelphia, it's The Roots, featuring MC Sham Wow Obama and OG Joe 'Bite Me' Biden!
"Sometimes I feel as if we had such a high on election night, and then there was the inauguration and Bono was singing and Beyonce," Obama said at a fundraiser in Chicago last week."

Woods, a community organizer with Organizing for America, the White House's grassroots political arm, tramped up and down the avenue in Mount Airy and Germantown, dropping off fliers at Johnson's Barbershop, McMenimon's Tavern, Infusion Coffee & Tea - anyplace willing to take them.
Her urgent goal, and that of other volunteers in Northwest Philadelphia, was to build a big crowd for the rally, scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. Sunday at 60 E. Haines St., next to Fulton School. "We're trying to get people energized, to tell them what's going on," said Woods, 63.
Democrats hope the rally will help jolt awake voters in a neighborhood and city that were fired up for Obama in 2008, but have displayed less enthusiasm for the Nov. 2 midterm election.
The hip-hop band the Roots will perform at the Germantown rally, and Vice President Biden will help warm up the crowd for Obama. Tickets are not required for the event; space is available on a first come, first-served basis.

C-SPAN coverage is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. EDT.
Will MC Obama do his Slurpee rap? Will OG Biden keep it real and insult the audience Philly style?
Tune in at 5:30 p.m. EDT to find out. Word.
...of course we should expect Obama to have a rally like this...urban America is his base...I fully expect his people will hit up the Unions to provide some white faces too...and the MSM will cover the event to make it look wholly multi-cultural, when it’s all sooooo fake.
Why would the Roots tarnish their rep by appearing with Obama?
All that from the “City of Brotherly Love”.
Not to be contentious, but I think the prez prefers to be known as “Snoop Dog Hussein” and the veep as “Rappin’ Robinette.”
There would be 11 people show up if it were not for the band.
I don’t like rap. I guess I won’t watch. ;*)
I was thinking “Pimp Plugs”
Don’t knock Philly. While we try to get voters to turn out and care about our system many precincts there have over 100% voter turn out. Color me impressed.
