>>Baker was selected NOT elected.

Hey! Good memories for moonbats. Bush was selected not
elected, too, you know...

Pres. Bush was ELECTED and was chosen by GOP primaries.

By contrast, Baker, Romney’s poodle, who is devoted
to RomneyCARE was NOT chosen by primary.
It was a manipulation to remove a vote from the
public (How Romney is that?)

You RomneyBOTs try to spin history, don’t you?

Amazing, it’s all a conspiracy. Baker and Mihos both ran,
Mihos ran out of money. Surely some will accuse us of
conspiracy talk with Patrick/Cahill but the GOP nomination
wasn’t a behind the scenes deal set out to squash competition.
Maybe someday there will be a true conservative who will become the nominee; it would be doubtful they could win
given this is Massachusetts though so we have to take what we can. Either that or change the moonbat minds of the voters.
SOME are waking up. But the system of more government
creating a dependence system is tough to beat.

Perhaps people are waking up on the national level too
and we can throw out Obama but this is MA and we have to
lurch carefully to the right lest we once again become
a one party state.

And Cahill belongs to that one party, in the end.

>>Bush was selected

I was being sarcastic. Sorry I didn’t put the :)
in there. I know it’s important to be serious but
I’m trying to use a little humor here, something I haven’t
seen much of in your posts. I’m glad you’ll probably be
miserable after four years of Gov. Baker since perhaps
you revel in misery. I do know I’ll be miserable if
your candidate, Deval Patrick, gets another four years.
And other some Carr-like sarcasm, it may not be too
fun for me.

Because a vote for Cahill is a vote for Patrick. Either
Patrick or Baker will win. If you don’t want Baker, ultimately you are preferring Deval.

You, Carr, Baker and Romney play the same deceitful games.

You claim, "VOTE FOR THE RINO because you otherwise get Obama/Patrick."

Nope. It is a bad, no longer working mantra.
Go back to DU.

Romney, Baker (RomneyCARE deluxe), and Obama are three of a kind.

Enough chameleons.

Enough shapeshifters.

No RINOs. No Baker.

Governor’s got some deep Pockets for his fund-raiser
By Howie Carr | Wednesday, October 13, 2010 | http://www.bostonherald.com | Columnists

The motto of the Massachusetts Democrat party used to be: “If you’re indicted, you’re invited.”

Now it’s been updated: “If you’re in organized crime, you organize the time.”

Am I right, Patrice Tierney, wife of moonbat Rep. Johnny Pockets Tierney? It turns out Mrs. Pockets has been a very busy felon. Not only has she been laundering $8 million for her brother, a fugitive gangster, but she’s also been organizing a chi-chi fund-raiser on the North Shore for Gov. Deval Patrick.

Apparently none of the local Democrats cared when she copped a sudden, pre-election plea in federal court last week — no jail time, of course, and a mere $2,500 fine. For laundering $8 million for mobsters. It’s good to be married to a guy named Pockets. By the way, there are more corrupt places than Boston. There have to be.

But then someone handed me an invitation to Mrs. Johnny Pockets’ fund-raiser for Deval. It lists the Mass. Democrat Party’s newest felon as “Honorary Chair” of Deval’s $50,000 time. Monday, we began calling, and a few hours later Patrice was thrown under yet another bus, just the way her husband did to her at the courthouse a week ago.

But Deval Patrick, of course, wouldn’t think of speaking ill of the felonious. “I don’t know the whole story, but it sound like a very, very sad one.”

An indictment is always a disappointment, as we used to say in Somerville.

“My heart goes out to her.”

That’s the sort of thing you say when you’re hoping that someone will stand up. Here is what her husband, Johnny Pockets, said last week in a televised debate about his wife’s organized-crime Laundromat.

“It wasn’t a family business that she was running. It was a family, a family business, but not a family business.”

Thanks for straightening that out, Pockets.

The time is scheduled next Tuesday night at the Hawthorne Hotel, which occupies a small place in the history of Salem. It’s the hotel former Rep. Michael Harrington was indicted (on 12 counts) for buying and then allegedly skimming back in 2000. He plea-bargained it down to a misdemeanor — stop me if you’ve heard this one before.

The feds bagged Harrington’s successor, Nicky Mavroules, on a felony racketeering rap. Nicky’s nickname was Pockets, too.

Back to Patrice’s party for her dear pal Deval. Ex-con, I mean Rep. Harrington is a “sponsor.” The “patrons” on the invitation include David Harrison, a former state rep and district court judge. Harrison retired along with an ex-solon-turned-judge in the wake of an incident at a zoning board hearing where Harrison’s wife (another “patron” of the party) had a beef with somebody, and the hack judge said, “Get your head out of your (expletive.)”

They were removed from the bench amidst charges of perjury and abuse of power, but ... think Patrice Tierney. Think brooms. In the halls of justice, the only justice is in the halls. Everything worked out for the best. Judge Harrison’s state pension is $78,644.52 a year.

So the time at the Hawthorne is still on, even if Patrice is indisposed. If you like corruption, vote Democrat. You can’t say you weren’t warned.

LMAO, right outta the box Howie is bashing entercom, seems some of the “marconi autographed” equipment has broken down.........again.......no intro.......Howie wants to know when he’s going to “get outta this hole” - says he’s been there a lot longer than 69 days - says he’ll be hugging everyone once he gets “outta this hole” LMAO

yup heard that, also heard him say something like “When the signal of WRKO gets weak if you’re in certain areas due to earlier sunsets tune to WCRN, AM 830—I hope I don’t have to keep saying this the rest of my life. Maybe I won’t have to in a few weeks.”

That last bit was a bit puzzling—Howie supp. has 2 yrs left on the ill-fated contract (”I’ve already been in the hole for 3 yrs now”—5 yr contract); is he trying to escape early with legal help? who knows

Special Thu column ping. Anyone hear the pothead,
er, legalize-pot supporter Howie had on? Third or
fourth party candidate in the Perry-Keating race, I think
(guy named Van Ness);
couldn’t name national or local House or Senate leadership
and could pretty much only name 1 US Rep for MA, the outgoing Delahunt. (I can name all 10, in order, right off the top of my head. Ready? “Dutch Elm” Olver, “The Sheik” Neal, McGovern, Frank, “Remember the T is Silent” Tsongas,
Tierney (and his money laundromat), Markey, Capuano,
Lynch, and the outgoing Delahunt.

Anyway the guy got really combative after Howie started going after him about the pot situation and his lack
of knowledge. He did want to talk about the war though

Keep those cards and letters coming in, folks
By Howie Carr | Thursday, October 14, 2010 | http://www.bostonherald.com | Columnists

The Hack Hotline claims its third victim of the week — Brian G. Roche, $84,869.90-a-year assistant clerk/magistrate, busted for OUI in Milton a week ago last Saturday.

Without our dime-droppers, the Herald never would have known about this latest outburst of open and gross hackery. Thanks to whoever whacked Roche for us — I’m buying the next time I see you down the Tahiti in Dedham.

Just in the past week, the Hack Hotline has generated the tip about Deval’s free-liquor welfare cards — don’t leave the project without your Zeituni card! Then came the envelope with no return address and inside a copy of the invitation to Deval’s Oct. 19 time at the Hawthorne Hotel sponsored by convicted Mob money-laundress Patrice Tierney.

And now, this latest missive, about an HUI — hack under the influence. Another heads-up that arrived in an envelope with no return address. Those are the ones that get opened first. Don’t e-mail — too easy to trace. The Zeituni welfare-card tip came in via fax, but that too can be risky unless you own the fax machine.

Snail mail is the best, for all concerned. If it’s good, we move fast. Just ask Brian Roche, and Mrs. Johnny Pockets Tierney.

So here is this Roche hack, bailed out by the first assistant clerk, Robert Bloom, who makes $92,034 a year. But even funnier is how Roche blames the eight Budweisers in his 2003 Chrysler Sebring on his boss. That would be the clerk of courts, Walter Timilty, who makes $110,221 a year and is the father of state rep Walter Timilty, who made $68,561 last year.

Four problems with Roche’s conduct:

Number one, you gave up the name of the barroom where you

allegedly ingested the bad ice cube, Malachy’s on Granite Street. Even state reps as dim as Paul Kujawski know that when the cops are asking you to do the sidewalk Olympics, you tell them that you took your last drink at a “private dwelling.”

Number two, who the hell drinks Budweiser anymore? It’s Bud Light, pal.

Number three, I don’t care how loaded you are, you don’t point the finger at your boss. Is there no honor among hacks?

Number four, don’t diss the cop that pinched you. Here’s what he said, after calling Officer Wanda Craig a Nazi: “Remember the ’70s when there were no women police officers?”

What? Didn’t this crapulous coatholder ever watch “Police Woman” on TV? Angie Dickinson — va-va-va-voom! Her nickname was Pepper. Roche is lucky he didn’t get pepper-sprayed.

Keep those no-return-address letters coming in. Drop a dime on them before they drop one on you.

A little off topic, but does anyone else get the sense Howie’s upcoming novel will be an embarrassing disaster? Maybe I don’t have enough faith. I think Howie is a superb nonfiction writer. I cringed when he said he had a soon-to-be-released novel in the works, however. The transition from nonfiction to fiction is bigger than a lot of people realize, and if Howie craters he won’t be the first guy with NF cred who died in the F trenches. I hope I’m pleasantly surprised, but if the novel blows I want credit for predicting it.

LMAO, I heard the pot smoking dummy, that was excellent radio, the guy was totally clueless and Howie was lovin' it!

Love the "hack hotline", seems Howie has been getting a lot of "dirt" from people who have dropped a dime to the line - I love it when these holier than thou hacks get busted.

Is anyone listening to Howie right now? Supposedly, he has an advance copy of a poll that will be out tomorrow that is VERY favorable to Baker.

And Jim McKenna is within 9 pts. of Coakley!

just checking....McKenna’s name IS on the ballot, right????

He’s no longer a write-in but a CONTENDER vs. Marsha?????

If he’s got an “R” after his name, he picks up another 10% once the curtain closes....
