There are so many reasons to ditch Rob Andrews in November, not the least of which is his opponent, Dale Glading. Glading is everything that the elitist left-wing Andrews isn't. He's humble, gracious, working hard to earn the trust of the voters, and full of common sense conservative ideas that, as a bonus, just so happen to agree with the Constitution.
Just for kicks, here are 10 of the top reasons to get rid of Rob Andrews in November:
1. He not only voted for Obamacare--he co-authored the House bill! Andrews has been described as power broker in the radical socialist usurpation of the healthcare industry signed by President Obama. He was involved in drafting the legislation and guiding it through congress. Voting him out would remove not just a solid Obamacare vote but one of the radical fundamental transformation leaders in congress. During the Hillarycare debacle in the 1990s Andrews stood against socialized medicine and earned credibility asa moderate within the Democratic party. At the Rowan University healthcare town hall meeting, he told angry and disillusioned constituents that not only would he vote for Obamacare, but that he regretted his opposition to Hillarycare. Andrews is a radical leftist wolf in moderate sheep clothing. New Jerseys first district may tilt to the Democratic column, but they dont want leftist Nancy Peloisi-like loons representing them!
2. He lied about the true intention of Obamacare repeatedly to a packed town hall at Rowan University. He parsed words, played semantics and outright lied. Folks lined up to read actual passages of the bill to Andrews. His response was to say that those scary provisions werent in the bill. Of course, about the same time Nancy Pelosi was claiming that we had to pass the bill to find out what was in it. By the end of the night Andrews admitted that the wording of several of the controversial passages in the bill allowed for multiple interpretations--something voters are just finding out now as more and more radical provisions crawl out of the Obamacare woodwork like the nefarious stinkbug menace.
3. Andrews sidles up to the pork trough! His pork-laden voting record earned him a 0% rating in 2009 from Citizens Against Government Waste and lifetime ranking of 14%, meaning that during the fiscal year 2009, Rob Andrews never once sided with the American taxpayers. By comparison Barney Franks racked up a 1%, Nancy Pelosi tied Andrews with 0%, John Kerry earned a 3% and Harry Reid earned a 4% rating in 2009. In other words, if they were on the playground and someone yelled out for everyone to the right of Nancy Pelosi to come over to the other side of the playground Rob Andrews would be left standing with Pelosi, holding hands and blinking the bright afternoon sun. Even his lifetime rating proves his addiction to taxes and spending. A lifetime rating of 14% doesnt inspire much confidence in his ability to be a good steward of the resources entrusted him by the voters of the 1st district.
4. His Air America interview in 2009 admitted the point of Obamacare was to drive for-profit healthcare out of business not create more competition as he stated to constituents. The interview was recorded within days of his big healthcare town hall meeting and yet the explanation given by Andrews on each occasion couldnt be more different. In person, Andrews tried to assuage the outrage of his constituents by creating an elaborate fantasy world where a magical marketplace exchange would create more free market competition of which the government option would simply be a competitor. (Ignoring the fact that government doesnt worry about profits--it just raises taxes to offset budget deficits and that as such, the government option would easily run the for-profit folks out of business.) However, on Air America, safe in the company of fellow leftist loons, Andrews admitted the reason for the government option and indeed the long-term goal was to eventually run for-profit healthcare industries out of business.
5. He lied about not running for his congressional seat if he lost to NJs prehistoric windbag senator Frank Lautenberg. Confident that hed be able to defeat New Jerseys answer to Strom Thurmond in the senate primary, a beaming and seemingly honest Rob Andrews swore to the voters of the first district that win or lose in the senate primary, he would not be returning to his old seat. He followed that public statement by having his wife run for his seat, secure the nomination for him, and immediately resign from the seat to allow him to run in the general election. This kind of open disdain for his constituents and the narcissistic ability to lie to keep his strangle-hold on power makes him unfit for public office.
6. He respects his constituents so much that he refuses to engage in public debate with his opponent, refuses to create a website, and barely even campaigns. He doesn't even campaign! So secure and smug in the belief that he will win re-election handily is Andrews that he doesnt even have a campaign website and barely updates his official page. He makes virtually no public appearances and refuses to publicly debate his GOP opponent Dale Glading. If he thinks campaigning for the job is beneath him, he lacks the humility necessary to be an effective public servant.
7. Hes buddies (or an indentured servant of) with George Norcross. Enough said.
8. Hes spent his career lying about being a moderate from his comfortable perch on Nancy Pelosis lap. From cap and trade to healthcare to major economic policy and even social issues, while giving lip service to moderation, Andrews has been a true believer in all things left. In fact, like a true liberal, the only place he has attempted to cut spending and save money is in defense spending. As noted by the tone-deaf press release given as a response to Dale Galding's free pork sandwiches rally that highlighted Andrews' immense love of pork, the only thing he could point to in terms of saving taxpayers' money was cutting costs in the defense arena.
9. He supports cap and tax/trade and letting the Bush tax cuts expire. Only a committed leftist would support such economy killing measures in the current economic environment. Re-electing Andrews will prolong and most likely worsen the current economic woes of the nation.
10. He voted to cut off debate and go home instead of dealing with whether or not to extend the Bush tax cuts, a good sign that he intends to raise taxes in this economy. Cowardice, arrogance and left wing ideology are not a good mix for a member of congress.

Andrews is a Democrat...that’s all I need to know.
He’s a PUNK with a SMIRK!!
He’s not even “running” this time. He knows Glading has no money to buy some exposure , so he is simply hiding and figures he’ll win on his own name recognition on election day.
I don’t know why the NJ GOP and the National GOP refuse to fund Glading. This seat can be won this year.
Hopefully he get some $$$ from Dick Morris' PAC.
