Awful! I wonder if there was a feud between these 2 families or maybe a neighborhood feud. That would never be an excuse for such uncivilized behavior but it might explain it.

I could understand some dissent between the mothers of these two families, but to take it out on a 7 year-old child is beyond the pale.

That woman who was interviewed should be ashamed of herself, but I’m sure she isn’t. What a role model for her kids.

Also, if you read the article, it says this “feud” escalated over a birthday party invitation. Unreal.
