It is almost beyond belief that Rep. John Adler, a Democrat from southern New Jersey and his allies could successfully plant a fake Tea Party candidate on the ballot in order to draw votes form the Republican candidate Jon Runyon.
It is possible that Adler and operatives of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) violated a number of statues and House Rules, but the more pressing priority is for Adler to fully explain his knowledge of these events. Moreover, DCCC Chairman Rep. Chris Van Hollen, at right, must fully explain any role he played, and the role of his staff. Any DCCC personnel involved should be immediately fired.
The civil rights of Tea Party protesters, and voters who identify with the movement, are being violated. Democratic Congressman made allegations of a racial incident on Capitol Hill that could not be substantiated. A Tea Party demonstrator had his finger bit off in California. Left-wing activists have boasted of plans to infiltrate Tea Party events for purposes of discrediting the movement. Dissent and participation in the political process are Constitution rights. They are under assault.

Dems Admit Rep. John Adler Planted Fake Tea Party Candidate
by Mike Roman
Excerpt:
"Democratic operatives in New Jersey are turning on Congressman John Adler (D-NJ3). Due to ethical qualms they have revealed the Adler campaign is behind the bogus NJ Tea Party candidacy of Peter DeStefano."

After my first Tea Party event on the beach in El Segundo, I warned here that Demos would co-opt the movement if possible with just this tactic. First they sent spoilers to events with racist signs, next they create phony candidates to draw down GOP votes.
They are SO predictable.

Yep, I’m surprised that there were a few who had ethical qualms about this and spilled the beans. I guess there are some decent people that are Dems even if their beliefs are questionable. :)

So long as people (on our side) don’t behave like idiots and vote for 3rd party candidates, this won’t be a problem.
We have some nutty woman, Peg Dunmire, running on the Florida Tea party ballot in Florida 8 as well. She could siphon 5-10% of the vote away from Webster and potentially allow Alan Grayson to retain his seat.
The Tea Party organization really need to publicize that they are conducting their races within the GOP primaries, and that people whom support Tea Party ideas should NOT vote for 3rd party candidates. Many/most of these Tea Party candidates running 3rd party are Democratic plants anyway.

Agreed, that would be a disaster if that turkey Grayson gets reelected.

Don’t forget the stalking horse running in Nevada who taped Sharon Angle...is this a pattern of similar events?
If so, doesn’t that suggest this was coordinated at a higher level like at DCCC of D senate committee?

Good point...The DCCC is connected to this but it’s not a stretch to believe it goes higher with some of the thugs Zer0 has surrounded himself with.

Print out copies of this and mail them to James Clyburn. After all the rants he made about Alvin Greene supposedly being a Republican “plant,” this very real example of a Democrat plant should be superglued to his forehead. Or shoved in that gap between his front teeth.

This is simple enough -- come 2012 "Obama Party" candidates suddenly find their way onto the ballot vs. every Democrat incumbent. Goodbye their Black 5%.

I can't believe how all those old cavalry guys stayed on the horse, riding with a straight leg and feeling for the stirrups with their toes.

“Tea Party candidates running 3rd party are Democratic plants anyway.”
Agreed! Conservatives should vote for Republicans with a Tea Party endorsement, and realize the Tea Party is NOT a political party!
