I think you may be taking his remark as personal when it’s aimed at Jewish people collectively. Don’t take it as an attack on you personally, just a reflection of how some of us feel when our friends treat us with suspicion.
I’m a Southerner too, born in VA, who not only understands what is at stake in the physical realm but the spiritual realm as well and it really bothers those of us like me who support Israel and wish her good and not evil, only to be treated poorly by most Jewish people we meet because of a stereotype that isn’t true.
I just figure that it’s a part of the blindness that the Apostle Paul talked about, but it really gets to us sometimes, you know?
I understand, but part of the hostility you feel from Jews is a result of continuous attempts to convert us to your religion.
We each have our path to follow, it is not necessary for you to try to bring me over to your path.
