The top two female Republican candidates in California are raising eyebrows because they won't be appearing with Sarah Palin at a GOP rally in Anaheim next week.

Both Meg Whitman and Carly Fiorina are skipping the event - saying they have conflicting campaign stops.

Whitman and Fiorina need to do whatever possible to get every vote they can.

Considering California’s liberal bent, it just makes sense to disassociate with Palin at this time. I find no fault with the strategy.

DUH! In a state with 3-1 democrat registration they would be absolutely stupid to appear with Sarah, and Sarah would be the FIRST to tell them so.

´Not surprised. We´re stuck with RINOs here. I sure hope the rest of the country can do better than CA. If not, we´re finished.

Yeah, well I’m going to be there, and so will many other voters.

Whitman doesn’t surprise me as she is a RINO big time, but Fiorina I thought was at least a (sorta) conservative. Oh well I guess they must be scared that the liberal Republicans will abandon them. There loss I suppose.

A new Field Poll released this week indicates Palin isn't well liked here in California - with only 33% of those polled viewing her favorably.

It looks like they are reading the polling tea leaves.

I couldn’t disagree more. Line straddlers ususlly get run over. Why vote Dem lite when you can get the real thing. Though I’m not a Sarah guy, she is one of the prominent faces of the conservative/tea party wing of the party.

If I were their campaign managers I think I’d make the same decision, and I believe Palin will be President. The CA women have to do what they have to do in the big blue state.

They are RINO’s after all, who is surprised by this?

Given that it’s California, it doesn’t imply anything detrimental to Sarah Palin. You probably didn’t mean that, I just thought it needed to be said.

This is an RNC scheduled 'FUNDRAISER'.

The leftist media, and the commie socialists at DU, are trying to make this look 'bad' on Palin. Seems like they have allies and/or useful idiots in the propaganda war.

It implies, to me, something detrimental with the Gnarly and Whitless. But I’ve known that since they announced.

my thoughts exactly...
doesn't our Heavenly Father say ‘If you are ashamed of me before others.....

well to Meg and Carly...there will come a day when you will be asking President Sarah Palin for help...and knowing her, she will be there for you...

I don’t have a problem with anyone who doesn’t want Sarah to campaign for them. Just don’t go against her or you’ll have to deal with us cultist as you call us.

You are wrong...it’s the politically correct thing to do. Politics is not “POLITE.” I’m glad they’re in it to win it. The facts are that Conservatives will be voting for those two..they have to get crossover votes to win and winning IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING. I’m always amazed by how many here don’t seem to understand that. I’m sure Palin understands as well.

And besides, Fiorina and Whitman don’t want to be upstaged.

This is a tough call but a sign these may not be such tough women. Sarah runs on principles, any time any place. We all understand strategy i.e. O’Donnell. I have lived in Kali all my life and I can assure you it is one of maybe three states were Obama is still loved and the likes of Palin hated. That said you show up in Orange County and you motivate LA & SF against you when it may just be they stay home as they have little cause. Sarah would give them something to react to. It a numbers game. Wish it were not true.

Once Sarah declares there won’t any fence left to sit on. The contrast with Obama will be so great, her crowds will number like none before.

The Left ain’t seen nothin’ yet!
