If not, I certainly see no reason why we couldn’t (also perhaps) bring pillows (for feathers) and a bucket of cold tar.
Not as dramatic, perhaps, but the point is to strive for symbolism that can’t be mistaken for anything else.
Then, if the situation escalates, bring the real stuff.
