Nattering Nabobs of Negativity is something we do not need.
The only point this that I agree with is voter fraud. If we see widespread losses of candidates who were shoe-ins, there needs to be a total stoppage to the Federal government and immediate investigations should be done with the full brunt of the government’s investigation wings. Voter fraud is a felony, and we need to start locking up those Democrats who are perpetrating these frauds.
Election fraud is what worries me the most.
Excellent advice and well worth reading and following.
We better be ready govern on day one and have solid plan.
That is my biggest fear.
My biggest concern is simply that I see no real indication the American public has turned it’s back on the social welfare state. In fact, taking the demographic trends into account, I believe more and more US citizens are actually wedded to a large intrusive government.
I agree the enthusiasm is mostly on the Republican side, but I am not so sure there has been any fundamental shift in the way Americans view big government.
Even if the generic ballot is tied and the vote comes in around 50/50 the Republicans will make large gains, but not the tsunami like victory many are predicting. I think Dick Morris and his over the top predictions are full of crap.
Is the article afraid to tell it like it is?
Re: “3-4 million Evangelical voters stayed home after the Bush drunk driving story broke.” Totally wrong analysis. It was MoralMajority/ChristianCoalition ground game that won in ‘94. The activists in that ground game became totally disillusioned by the failure of the GOP to have a backbone. The die was cast long before the drunk driving story.
Re: “coast, while late attacks against them do more damage than expected” True. In IL close races only Kinzinger and Pollack have defined themselves. Dold, Hultgren, Walsh have not defined themselves. This echos the McSweeney race where he had the money and ability but let Rahm define him as “extremist” in his race against Bean.
Re: “Dem superb ability in 2008 to turn out its vote” They still have that superb ability. They are busing voters to early voting while I’m at this keyboard.
Announcement: Dems vote all of October. Republicans wait to vote til the last minute of the last day; totally unaware the election is pretty much over by then.
Re: “no evidence Republicans are focused on GOTV “. Not just Republicans, but conservatives and Tea Party types also. Of 30 odd Tea Party groups in IL that have produced rallies of over 500 people, I’m only aware of two of them that are actually doing anything effective for the election.
I suspect the same is true nationwide. 90% of Tea party groups were described by Mel Gibson in THE PATRIOT as well intentioned but clueless to strategy and tactics.
Quin knows jack sh!t! Instead of warning like chicken little... he should be attacking the dims and ensuring our momentum stays high. Nothing is for certain but Quin knows nothing beyond that known by any of us.

I use to think we needed an extra 5% to win, now I think it's close to 10!
Try as they might to throw a wet blanket...they missed.

Confidence, conviction and coordination will win the day!
The Baraqqis have added 17 million to the food stamp ranks in two years. That’s a lot of handouts - and votes!
The numbers scare me.
The only poll that matters is IN THE VOTING BOOTH.
Get motivated to do EVERYTHING YOU CAN to make history this year. drag everyone to vote Republican.
