Barack Obama accused of exaggerating terror threat for political gain
Guardian UK ^ | 10/7/10 | Simon Tisdall

A U.S. terror alert issued this week about al-Qaida plots to attack targets in western Europe was politically motivated and not based on credible new information, senior Pakistani diplomats and European intelligence officials have told the Guardian. The non-specific US warning, which despite its vagueness led Britain, France and other countries to raise their overseas terror alert levels, was an attempt to justify a recent escalation in US drone and helicopter attacks inside Pakistan that have "set the country on fire", said Wajid Shamsul Hasan, the high commissioner to Britain.

The Guardian is so far left it makes the New York Times look like the National Review, so if they’re turning on him, it’s all over but the shouting.

Even CNN former Homeland Security advisors were saying there was NO reason it was on the news. NO reason.

At the time we were reading and hearing ‘Obama poised to issue’, “Obama will issue’...

I thought, well issue it or don’t, but why put out in the media he is ‘poised’ to, or ‘will’ in the future.

It’s all deception. To make people think he’s strong on Islamic terrorism, oops, I’m not supposed to use those words.

While at the same time, letting Islamic terrorists go!

Wow- second time this week that The Guardian has alleged that Obama is doing this:

“British intelligence denies US terror warnings sparked by new info
(US warning of commando terror attacks in Europe irritates European officials, who say no evidence plot is imminent)”

I think its very credible that Obama would do this. The other possibility is that he did it to deter Americans from going overseas for vacation. If it weren’t Obama I’d say that its possible its true. But Obama could care less about terrorist threats unless there is some ulterior end.

Well, if the Guardian says so........

Which “European intelligence officials” are speaking to the Guardian? Without named sources, the story has no credibility. As half the Pakistanis are Jihadist supporters, testimony of the Pakistani source is worthless.

The Guardian wants to downplay the threat and bad mouth any military action against terrorists. Obama could be riding high as he ever was and they’d still do this. The importance of their agenda far surpasses any passing loyalty to Obama.
