The drawer is open and the compute you total in their heads and just put the money in the box. If a official looking person buys something they ring it up on the register. They usually collect sales tax from people and then just pocket that money as extra cash.

These people are used to a black market economy and they just continue their tax skimming when they come to this country.

I first saw that in 1983. Went into a Korean green grocer in NYC and the woman I was with insisted they ring up her purchase on the cash register instead of fishing change out of a cigar box under the counter. I was naive back then

It isn't just the Muhammads. Immigrants love cash businesses and they are all cheating on taxes. There! I said it!

That tolerance for corruption is a major problem in our immigration policy. These immigrants are inured to corruption because that’s the case in their home countries.

Religion plays a factor. It is why so many are Democrats. That and their is near zero Republican outreach to minorities.
