I don’t believe in reading racial tea leaves just for political gain, but what was Lawrence O’Donnell thinking? Here’s how he described RNC Chairman Michael Steele on his MSNBC program tonight:
As the first congressional election during his party chairmanship approaches, Michael Steele is dancing as fast as he can trying to charm independent voters and Tea Partiers while never losing sight of his real master and paycheck provider, the Republican National Committee.
Try, if you can, to imagine the outrage if Bill O’Reilly or some other Fox News personality had gone the air and said that the Democratic party was Barack Obama’s “master.” However, since Michael Steele is an African American who happens to be a Republican, I don’t suspect too many members of the media will be beating down Lawrence O’Donnell’s door and demanding an apology. And note this is not the first time a prominent Democrat has made an unfortunate racially-tinged characterization of Michael Steele’s relationship to the GOP. In 2006, House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, D-Md., said Steele had “a career of slavishly supporting the Republican Party.”

Lawrence O’Donnell sounds like he might be a racist bigot. He’s an “uncle Tom” right Larry? Blacks should stay on the DNC’s plantation and not speak until spoken to. Right Larry? So much for Obama’s “post-racial America”.

Every day it seems one or more of the mainstream mediots tries to outidiotize the mark set previously. Frankly, I think it’s entertaining.
O’Donnell doesn’t care two cents about African-Americans. He’s just using them.

Good Lord....how insane. Thanks for the link because I was not even close in what I thought it meant which really was not much. I cannot believe how ridiculous this world has become in regards to certain words. I am in shock and it really takes a lot to shock me especially since becoming a FREEPER over four years ago (seeing all the crazy stories from the dems). In fact, I believe this could be the worst and most ridiculous story ever.
