So much for "choice".

The culture of death takes no prisoners. It absorbs those who don't fight against it and it won't go away.

They’ve tried this in the US too. There was a push a few years back to make abortion training and participation mandatory for OB/Gyn residents. It failed, but at some training programs the pressure from peers and professors is still intense.

Referral to an actual abortion provider implies the doctor recommends the treatment and treatment provider. It seems there are two problems here: first, if a doctor believes abortion is ipso facto harmful, then his or her coerced referral is absolutely a violation of conscience and professional judgment, and, second, if a doctor refers a patient to a particular abortion provider, it implies the doctor has investigated the provider and feels the patient would be competently served. Either way, the doctor is forced to violate conscience and prostitute professionalism.

Members of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe were this week due to vote on a resolution to crack down on “the problem of unregulated use of conscientious objection”.

I don't suppose the Orwellian tone of that statement even registers with these drones? How dare anyone to listen to their conscience?!
