They need to put solar panels on Air Force One. I see that plane fly in and out of Andrews Air Force Base every day. Sometimes 2 and 3 times a day.
Also does anyone know why a Air Tran airplane would be flying out of a military base. I have lived here 30 years and have never seen a public plane fly in or out of Andrews.

Whatever it was, you couldn't track the plane in flight. It went from ATL to ADW, landing at 4:03 AM on 10/4. FL8620. Perhaps a military ferry flight? I don't know.

Flight: (FL) AirTran Airways 8620

Status: Landed On-time

Departure: (ATL) Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport

Scheduled: 2:50 AM (runway)

Actual: 2:55 AM (runway)

Arrival: (ADW) Andrews Air Force Base

Scheduled: 4:06 AM (runway)

Actual: 4:03 AM (runway)

My guess would be a military charter flight sending soldiers back to their original bases or home cities. Airtran used the same flight number for a flight to Pope Air Force base yesterday.
