I heard her on Beck, she did not appeal to me. She should have defended her position and let the people decide. Instead she tried to duck the issue and came off even worse.

Glenn did destroy her though. I thought that was wrong. Glenn should ask God if his conduct toward this woman was “Jesus like”. WWJD? Not what Glenn did.

I'm a so called “birther”. Ask me anytime, anywhere, and I will defend my position. I am confident of my position, regardless that “birthers” are lumped in with “truthers” and nut cases.

Thanks, faucetman for your point of view. I was rather sickened by her response at the time because I knew it was the death of her campaign, but I truly don't think she tried to duck the issue, just trying to be honest in what she knew or didn't know at the time.

At any rate, it seems a small issue in itself and we shouldn't expect our “citizen” candidates to be polished when they come before all the seasoned politicians and the media out to paint them as incompetent. I think so many of the seasoned congress critters are so corrupt and beholden to special interests (both sides of aisle) that I prefer these new challengers with all their warts.

IMO, of course.
